Obituary: Anita Boenig of Seguin died on the 17th of May, 2011 at the age of 94. A private burial took place at Lone Oak . Memorial services will be held at 10 am on 18th at Friedens Church with Rev. John Roberts officiating. Mrs. Boenig was born 6, 1916 in Guadalupe to Rudolph and Martha (Dauer) Tschoepe. On 12, 1934 she married Hilmar Boenig. She was a lifelong member of Friedens Church. Early in her married life she worked part time at Duke & Ayres in Seguin, wrote the "North of Seguin" column in the Seguin Enterprise, and worked part time at the Barbarossa Store. She was also a homemaker and worked with her husband on the farm. Later Anita was employed at the Navarro School Cafeteria for 23 years, including many years as the manager. Her husband, Hilmar Boenig, preceded her in death in 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law Etelka (Benno) Heinemeyer, brother Marvin Tschoepe, and son-in-law Richard Harrison. She is survived by her daughters: Annette Waite and husband Norman, Marsha Harrison; son, James Boenig and wife Cathy; grandchildren: Sara, Andrea, and Eric (Annette) Waite, Susan (Chuck) Bell, Ross Harrison, Veronica (Andy) Tate, Mallory (Micah) Grau, Emilie Boenig; step grandchildren: Christopher and Scott (Gloria) Sivori; great grandchildren: Erin (Matthew) Passailaique, Reagan Bell, Kain Bell, T.J. and Charlie Harrison, Elijah Grau; and sister-in-law Melba Tschoepe. The family would like to thank the staff at Nesbit Living & Recovery and Guadalupe Regional Hospice for their loving care. Memorials may be given to Friedens Church or Lone Oak Association. |

Obituary: Services for Herman W. Boenicke, age 95, of Brookesmith, will be held at 2:00 p.m. 13, 2010 at the Davis Morris Chapel with Bill Wells officiating, interment to follow in Trickham under the direction of Davis Morris . Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm evening at the funeral home. Mr. Boenicke passed away morning at a local nursing home. Herman was born 27, 1915, in Brown , Texas, to the late Edmund Heinrich and Annie Pauline (Schroeder) Boenicke. He married Annie Laura Davis on 14, 1935 and worked as a rancher and farmer. He was a member of the Brookesmith Baptist Church, and the Clabber Hill and Mt. Zion Communities in Brown where he grew up. Herman is survived by a daughter Barbara Sanderson of Arlington; two sons, Edwin D. Boenicke of Brownwood, and Willie R. Boenicke of Brownwood; grandsons, Brent Sanderson of Arlington, granddaughters, Theresa Stout of Ft. Worth, and Cyndi Zagorski of Early; grandsons, Conice Boenicke of Del Rio, and Ryan Boenicke of Brownwood, and a step-grandson, Justin Haynes of Woodbury Mn; along with eight great grandchildren. Obituary: LaVonne Irene Boen 28, 1935 - 5, 2011 LaVonne K. Boen, 75, of Beverly Hills, passed away , 5, 2011 at her home. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., , 8, 2011 at Oakwood with Pastor William Biddy officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., , 7, 2011 at Connally/Compton Directors. LaVonne was born 28, 1935 in Drake, North Dakota to Gustav and Millie (Mittliter) Krueger. Her family moved to Seattle, Washington were she eventually met and married the love of her life, Kenneth Boen, in 1951 where they lived until his discharge from the Navy and they moved to Waco where they lived, loved and raised five sons. LaVonne was a school teacher at Service Memorial Methodist Church, President of Meadowbrook PTA. Kenneths death in 1995, she was made honorary council member of the City of Beverly Hills where she completed Kenneths unexpired term. She was a homemaker until her children were grown and she became active in secretarial work where she excelled in the construction industry and worked with the Association of General Contractors and other construction organizations as well as working with Sarah Coventry Jewelry and Avon part time. LaVonne was a loving mother who enjoyed time with her children and grandchildren with all her heart. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. LaVonne was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 39 years, Kenneth Boen; brother, Roger Krueger; and sister, Dee Parham. Those left behind to cherish LaVonnes memory are her sons, Kenny Boen and wife, Stephanie, Dolph Boen, Carl Boen and companion, Susan Yewell, Vaughn Boen, and Eric Boen and wife, Rita; brother, DeLynn Krueger and wife, Jan; sister Vivian Waring, brother-in-law, Edwin Boen and wife, Lidia; sister-in-law, Vickie McAdams and husband, Tommy; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Pallbearers will be Travis Boen, David Boen, Korey Boen, Chad Boen, Michael Boen, T.D. McAdams, and Buddy Bowen. under the direction of Connally-Compton Directors, Waco, TX. |

Price , 1400 Ave J, Levelland, TX 79336, on , May 30, 2015 from 5PM - 9PM. Services will be held at Sundown First Baptist Church, 302 E 7th Street, Sundown, TX 79372, on , Jun 1, 2015 at 2:30 PM. Burial will follow at the Sundown Cemetary. Carylon was born in Shields, TX on 8, 1941 with her twin sister, Cleo Jan Smith to Richard and Mary Smith. Carylon married Jerry Wayne Boen, 17, 1962 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is rejoicing in Heaven with her husband Jerry, her twin sister Cleo Smith, sisters Partha McMillan, Alene Landess, Earlene Machen, Louise Kerrick, brothers James Smith, RE Smith Jr., Eugene Smith, Ben Smith, Sam Smith and James Smith and her grandson Shawn Gaither. Carylon is survived by her daughter Cleo Ann Gaither & husband Richard, her son Dan Boen, grandson Ryan Gaither & wife Angel, granddaughter Latisha McNeel and husband Owen, grandson Andrew Nugent and wife Randi, all of Spring and Houston TX. Two sisters, Inez Martin of Coleman, TX and Jossie Grizzle of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has 3 great-granddaughters and a great-grandson all of Spring and Houston TX along with numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Carylon loved her family, that continued to grow through the years, her friends, who grew even more with the invention of the internet, and her garden, which she made grow in the dry West Texas land and the Swamp Land of Spring. Carylon loved her life and the Lord. She is singing praises being in her final home with all the family and friends who preceded her. |
