Obituary: Marjorie Ann Boehm was a modest woman and observant in her ways. She was trustworthy and traditional in her approach to her life and in her relationships. She was tough-minded with the kind of stick to it attitude that earned the respect of all who knew her. She was also a woman who was meticulous, carefully disciplined, and orderly in virtually everything she undertook. Realistic about life, she was always at the ready, prepared to take on responsibility. She was the daughter of Edward and Anna Kocian. Marjorie was raised with ten brothers and sisters. She had six brothers, Eldon, Valentine, Julius, Bruno, Edward and Lummier and four sisters, Evelyn, Bridget, Judith and Irene. Marjorie was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years. On 16, 1947 Marjorie exchanged wedding vows with Edwin Buck Boehm at Sts Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church of Shiner, Texas. Empathic and loyal, Marjorie was committed to making her new family happy. Marjorie worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Marjorie was blessed with five children, two sons,Waldo and Anthony and three daughters, Rosemary, Bonnie and Sharon. Another blessing for Marjorie was the gift of nine grandchildren, and four greatgrandchildren. Marjories faith was important to her. She was a member of Sts Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church and also a member of Catholic Daughters. Marjorie passed away on 3, 2009. She is survived by her husband:Edwin "Buck", Two sons: Waldo and wife Janie and Anthony, Three daughters: Rosemary Lightsey and husband Roger, Bonnie Foster and husband Jack and Sharon Ahrens and husband Bobby, One brother: Eldon Kocian,One sister: Evelyn Fikac, Nine grandchildren: Crissy Machacek, Christopher Boehm, Roger Lightsey, James Lightsey, Stephanie Curtis, Elaine Vornsand, Joseph Ahrens, Carl Ahrens, Allyson Ahrens and Four great-grandchildren: Bailey Machacek, Max Machacek, Chesney Machacek, and David Grant Curtis. Services will be held at Sts.Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church on , 6, 2009 at 10:30 am. Marjorie will be laid to rest in the Shiner Catholic . Simply stated, Marjorie was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Marjorie leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Marjorie Ann Boehm. |

Obituary: Alberta Marquerite Boehm services for Alberta Marquerite Boehm, age 83, of Conroe will be held on , 24, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church with Pastors David Quail and George Borghardt III officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. with a graveside service at Zion Lutheran Church in Anderson, Texas. Visitation is scheduled for , 23, 2010 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Cashner . Alberta was born 12, 1927 in Bowie, Texas and passed away on 21, 2010 at her residence in Conroe, Texas. She was lovingly called Bert by her friends, Aunt Bert by her nieces and nephews and Memaw by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She lived an unassuming life, never seeking accolades for herself but always proud of the accomplishments of others. She was admired as a woman of faith and a true friend to many. Memaw loved for children to visit and maintained an entire room in her home full of toys and books just for their enjoyment. She often traveled to attend special events in the lives of those most dear to her. Memaw lovingly attended many baseball and soccer games, even in extreme weather conditions, and she willingly went along on trips to water and amusement parks just to spend time with her grandchildren, although she did not swim or enjoy the rides. She retired form Moore Brothers Lumber after 20 years of employment with them. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church for 41 years and after retirement spent many hours donating her time to the Thrift Shop at St. Mark Lutheran Church where she formed many deep and meaningful friendships. Bert is well known for her love of the outdoors. She could usually be found working in her abundant garden or maintaining her beautiful lawn. One of her greatest joys was sharing her vegetables with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Annie Hoeldtke; husband, Richard Boehm; brother, George Hoeldtke; and sister, Geraldine Gerling. Bert is survived by her daughter, Linda Banfield and husband Michael of Canyon Lake, California; sons, Alan Boehm and wife Jeanie of Sealy and Dana R. Boehm and wife Shauna of Tomball; sisters, Marie Walker of Midland, Lydia Ellison and husband Bill of Austin, and Ruby Wylie and husband Felix of Bokchita, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Penny Hoeldtke of Flower Mound; grandchildren, Jacadi Bignami and Sean, Cali Johnson, Caleb Johnson, Tiffany Banfield, Brad Boehm, Casey Killough and Glen and Benjamin Boehm; great grandchildren, Ethan Boehm, Kade Killough, Kenna Killough and Kane Killough. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive. Pallbearers will be Bill Manor, Gary Schwede, Charles Schwede, Larry Webb, Larry Ellison and Craig Randolph. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in her name to the St. Mark Lutheran Church Thrift Shop, 2100 Tickner, Conroe, TX 77301 or to the American Cancer Society, 6301 Richmond Ave., Houston, TX 77057. Perhaps Albertas greatest legacy will be that she had a deep faith in God and believed in the salvation freely given by our Savior, Jesus Christ. She loved living and cherished the wonderful life that she was given, but she also eagerly anticipated eternal life in Heaven.
