Obituary: Donald E. Bodine went to be with our lord on 16, 2016. Don was born 12, 1929 to William P. & Edith Bodine 12, 1929 in Texarkana Texas. He served his country in the US NAVY @ NAS CC where he met the love of his life Donna Halder Bodine. were married 1 1952. Don attended The University of TEXAS graduating with an accounting degree. In his lifelong work in accounting he worked for the IRS and several companies in the Oil and Gas business. He loved playing Country music with many local bands. Don was in charge of the South Texas Opry show for 25 years scheduling local area musical talent. Don was inducted in the Texas Country music Hall of Fame in 2010. Don is preceded in death by his parents; mother and father in law, Tony and Sarah Halder; infant daughter, Robbin. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna; children, Brian (Annie) Bodine, Denise (John) Skrobarczyk both of Corpus Christi, TX; one granddaughter, Cynthia Ann Gonzalez (Adrian); one great-granddaughter, Maddison; brothers, Mike Bodine of Dallas, TX, Lois Duval and Willene Bodine of Grand Prairie, TX and Derald Bodine of Hector, AR. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on , 20, 2016 with a Service to be held that same afternoon at 12:00 p.m. at Seaside Chapel with Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park. |

Obituary: Francis E. Bodin, 85, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away , 27, 2014 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas. Francis was born 30, 1928 in Port Arthur, Texas to George Joseph Bodin and Leslie Williams Bodin. He was a lifelong area resident. Francis retired after 33 years of service as a police officer, having served in Groves for 26 years and Port Arthur for 5 years. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his three sons, Kent Bodin and wife n of Roundrock, Eric Bodin and wife Karen of Bridge City, Guy Bodin and wife Clare of Groves; one sister, Martha Davis of Nederland; one brother, Bobby Bodin of Port Arthur; four grandchildren, Matthew Bodin and wife Kaitleen, Andrew Bodin, Rikki Bodin, Ty Bodin; and one great-grandson, Eli Bodin. Obituary: Warren Earl Bodiford, 83, passed away , Dec. 23, 2014, with his family by his side in Fort Worth. Celebration of life: 1 p.m. at Shannon Rose Hill Chapel. Interment: Everman . Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. at Shannon Rose Hill Chapel. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Presbyterian Night Shelter. Warren graduated from Polytechnic High School and attended Arlington State . Warren served as a corporal in the U.S. Army from 1952-1954, and was also the chairman of the Crippled Children's Society of Lake Jackson. Over the course of his life, Warren worked for Dow Chemical and the United States Postal Service. He was a 32nd-degree Mason, a past master of Lake Jackson Lodge and a member of the Commandery. He was a member of Hemphill Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth. He was a faithful husband, father, grandpa and friend. He will be missed by many. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Monroe Bodiford and Geraldine Jones; as well as his wife, Marilyn Anne Churchill. Survivors: His three sons, Earl Craig and wife, Martha, Carl Wayne and wife, Lorinda, Clifford Jay and wife, Sherrie; seven grandchildren, Timothy, Katie, Erin, Jennifer, Melissa, Olivia and Matthew; four great-grandchildren, Madeline, Emma, Mason and Chloe; the rest of his family; and friends. |
