Obituary: Dedicated Wife, Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great - Great Grandmother Mary Bernice Bishop, age 89, of Killeen Texas passed into Gods hands from natural causes on 25, 2015. Mary was dedicated to her family, friends, and her church; Pershing Park Baptist Church. Marys interests involved Texas Squares Dancing Club, President of the Killeen Garden Club, President of the Fort Hood Officers Wives Club, and the Bob Gilmore Senior . Family and friends describe Mary as fantastic, elegant, compassionate, caring, loving, and selfless. There is no one she would not love and no one who did not love her. Mary was born May 20, 1925 in Jonesville, Louisiana to Fannie (Mamma) and Henry (Pappa) Marlett. Mary had a brother Joseph Marlett. On 2, 1943 Mary married the love of her life Dwight Calhoun Bishop and shared their love for 66 year until he passed into Gods hands in 2008. Mary is preceded in death by her daughter Laura Bishop and her grandson Corbett Bishop. Mary is survived by her son Dwight Henry-Lee Bishop of Lampasas Texas, her son James Rodney Bishop of Austin Texas, and her son Larry Paul Kratzenberg of Killeen Texas. Mary has five grandchildren, Toni Ann Halstad of Centralia Washington, Marty Leonne Fletcher of Lampasas Texas, Sherry Treonne Stallings of Lampasas Texas, Brenda Bernice Anderson of Amity Oregon, and Corbett Bishop mentioned above. Mary has 15 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. Marys viewing will be available on 27, 2015 between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Crawford-Bowers 1615 S. Fort Hood Road, Killeen Tx. 76542. The funeral service will be held , 28, 2015 at 10:30 am at Pershing Park Baptist Church, 1200 Old FM 440 Rd, Killeen, Tx. 76549. A graveside service will be held directly following the church service at Central Texas State Veterans 11463 State Hwy 195, Killeen TX. 76542. Obituary: Marvin Donnell Bishop was born in Williamson , Texas on May 15, 1914 and died in Round Rock, Texas on 9, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife; Margaret Salyer Bishop, his brother; Benton Bishop and his sister Ruth Bishop Jennings. He was a graduate of Southwestern University in 1936 where he earned an engineering degree and was a four year letterman on the football team. Obituary: Marion Louis (M.L.) Bishop, 96, whose life blessed so many, many friends and loved ones, died , 11, 2011, at his home in Baytown, Texas. Born in Calvert, Texas, on 24, 1914, he was the son of Felix Hines Bishop and Imogene Crouch Bishop. In 1940 he married Jewell Stanley and lived the greatest part of his life in Baytown. During his long and wonderful lifetime, M.L. was devoted to his family, his brothers and sisters, his church and his community. A political activist, he championed numerous political issues and was dedicated to reporting the truth about out-of-control federal spending, excessive taxation, and government waste and mismanagement through his famous character, Zeke, who "only speaks the truth" in the Zeke Informer. M.L. started his career with the Humble Oil , and for thirty-five years, he was the owner of Bishops Exxon, in Highlands, TX, said to be the "worlds most famous gas station because he had the worlds best customers." In addition to his dedication and devotion to family and friends, M.L. was President of the Highlands Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow; deacon emeritus of Memorial Baptist Church, Baytown; the community "Ice Man" providing free ice to numerous churches and organizations; the driving force behind the establishment of a building for the Highlands Fire Department; one of the originators and charter member of the Highlands Chamber of Commerce; and a benefactor for numerous youth athletic groups for which a park was named in his honor. M.L. was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years, Jewell, who passed away in , 1991, and is survived by his daughter, Lynette Bishop Relyea; his son-in-law, A. Walden Ends; his son, Stanley W. Bishop and Chong Cha Stanaway; his granddaughters, Catherine Relyea Larson and her husband, Dr. Curtis Larson; Rebecca Bishop; Elizabeth Bishop Holton and her husband, Paul; and Anna Rambo and her husband, Philip. He is also survived by his great grandchildren Neil Benjamin Rambo, Grant Curtis Larson and Caleb Zachary Rambo. Also surviving are his sisters Nellie Bishop Reagan of Houston; Bessie Bishop Perry of Station, TX; brother-in-law Valden Robertson of Station, TX and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
