Obituary: KELLER -- Robert Connor Bettencourt, 78, passed away , 9, 2011. Service: 11 a.m. , 16, at Shannon Rufe Snow Chapel. Interment: Bourland in Keller. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was born Jan. 26, 1933. He retired from the Army as a master sergeant after 26 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and made his own flies for his many fishing trips. Obituary: Mildred Greer Bettag, 92, of San Antonio, Texas died peacefully on 14, 2003 at Hospice San Antonio Inpatient . The sixth of eight children born to John Jefferson and Nancy Sylvania Craig Greer, she was born 8, 1910 in Parma, MO. On 23, 1932, in New Madrid, MO, she married Henry Joseph Bettag, who pre-deceased her on 25, 1980. All of her siblings preceded her in death: Eurie Clifton Greer, Clarice Greer, Bernice Jewel Greer Heniford, Hilma Greer, Orrel Belle Greer Myers, Paul Byron Greer, and Avery Craig Greer. Surviving Mrs. Bettag are: her daughter, Avis Faith Bettag Moore of San Antonio, her grandson Joseph Wayne Moore and his wife, Amy K. Roberts Moore, of Tempe, Arizona, and their daughter Elianna Joy Moore born 11, 2003; as well as her dear family friend Patricia Ann Taylor whom she claimed as an Âadopted daughter. Also surviving Mrs. Bettag are six nieces and one nephew and their families; friends from the Meadows Retirement Community; friends at the First United Methodist Churches in Mountain , Arkansas and North Little Rock, Arkansas; as well as the Women of Faith School class and all of her family of faith at Coker United Methodist Church. Mrs. Bettag was a lifelong member of and active worker in the Methodist Church until her age and health limited her participation to School and Worship. She loved to sing, especially songs of faith, and sang in the choir for as long as she was able. She was a faithful disciple, saved by grace. Thanks be to God for her life. She lives on in our hearts and in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Coker United Methodist Church, 231 E. North Loop Rd, San Antonio, TX 78216-1896. |

Obituary: Our husband and father, Herman Betke, met our Heavenly Father on 23, 2016. He was loved dearly and will be missed by the family, friends and co-workers he leaves behind. Herman was born in 1935 in Borger, Texas to Herman F and Esther Betke. He graduated from Borger High School and West Texas State University. He married Anita Foy Dawkins in 1957 in Canyon Texas. Herman served in the Army 23 years before retiring in 1980. He and Anita lived in Waco for many years where he worked at UBI Products with his son, Mike Betke. Anita's death, Herman found love again and married Jeannie Carpenter Betke in 2009. have lived happily in San Antonio. Herman and Jeanne were members of Concordia Lutheran Church where he served in the Stephen Ministry. Herman is survived by Jeanne, his children Mike and Mary Betke, Denise and Tommy Adams, grandchildren, Michael Betke, Sydney and Josh Dietert, Dan and Nora Adams, Lisa and Andrew Miller. He is also survived by Jeannie's children, Mark and Wendy Carpenter, Carmen and Dale Hardy, and grandchildren, Brandon Erlinson, Giordan and Rick Aristageta, Jacob Carpenter and Samantha Carpenter, and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be , 26-2016 from 6-8 PM at Connally-Compton Directors, 4400 W Waco, Drive, Waco, TX 76710.
