Obituary: Cheryl Webb Bennett, 68, of Dallas, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on 29, 2016. Born in Levelland, Texas, to parents Basil and Robbie Webb, Cheryl was a longtime resident of Lubbock who graduated from Lubbock High School and Texas Tech University. An accomplished professional, she taught elementary school in Lubbock, served with the Texas Department of Transportation in both Lubbock and Austin, and worked in Universal Field Services, directing the firm's Dallas office for many years. She is survived by her son, Todd (Kathy) Bennett and granddaughter, Zoe of Washington, DC; brother, Lee (Bethelyne) Webb of Allen, Texas; sister, Pat (Jim) Beebe of Dennis, Texas; brother, Bob (Stacey) Webb of Kansas City, Missouri; and nine nieces and nephews. A marriage to Bonner Bennett ended in divorce. service will begin at 10 a.m. , 5, 2016, at Resthaven and . Her grand-nephew, Sam Souder, will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. , 4, 2016 at Resthaven . Obituary: Our beloved sister, Charlotte Anne Bennett age 75, resident of Austin, Texas went to be with our lord and savior, Jesus Christ, on , May 24, 2015. She was born in Austin, Texas on 10, 1939. Charlotte graduated from Austin High School. She received a real estate license from the state of Texas and completed training in criminal justice. Charlotte was married to Lt. Col. Norman Bennett Ret. Her love in life was devotion to her family and her cats and she had a loving and caring spirit for all those around her. She was a gifted artist and gardener. She had a passion for cat rescue and all UT sports, especially UT football. She is preceded in death by her momma and daddy, Marjorie and Paul Davis, brother Roy Lee Davis and niece Theresa Evans. Obituary: Charles E. (Chuck) Bennett, 98, of Abilene, passed away , 18, 2015 at stead in Baird, Texas. One of four brothers, Chuck was born to Charles and Mary Bennett on 21, 1916 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, where he grew up in Martins Ferry and graduated from Martins Ferry High School. He served in WWII and was awarded the Victory Medal. In 1947 he and his family moved to Marietta, Ohio, where he was employed by American Cyanamid Chemical Co. and after five years transferred to New Orleans, LA, where he worked until 1961. He and his family moved to Dallas, Texas where he was employed as a house parent for 16 senior high boys and later became Superintendent of Juliette Fowler for Children. Several years later, he joined the staff at Baylor School of Dentistry, from which he retired in 1982. During his time in Dallas he and his wife were members of the Sanders School Class at East Dallas Christian Church, and served as an Elder (emeritus). In May of 2006, he and Waneta moved to Abilene, Texas to live with his son and daughter-in-law, later moving to Royal Estates where he resided until 2014, when events prompted his eventual move to stead where he passed away. He was preceded in death by his parents, his three brothers, his loving spouse, Waneta and his beloved son, Chuck. He is survived by his son, Ross E. Bennett and wife Joann of Abilene; daughter, Cindy Wall and husband Sampy of Houston; eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be , 20, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Elliott-Hamil , 542 Hickory Street. A memorial service will be conducted , 21, 2015 at 2:00 pm at First Christian Church, 1420 North 3rd Street in Abilene. A second memorial service will be conducted at Restland and Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas on , 28th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Christian Church, Abilene; Brook Hollow Christian Church, Abilene or East Dallas Christian Church.
