Obituary: MILDRED JEAN TIMI BEELER, age 90, of Sugar Land, Texas, passed away peacefully 10, 2015. Timi was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all. Timi was born in Dunn , Wisconsin, on 16, 1924. She was a Sugar Land resident for 26 years, during which time she volunteered at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital for over 20 years, attended bible classes at her church, St. Laurence, played golf, traveled with family and friends, and participated in yoga classes until age 85. When she was younger she traveled extensively with her World War II Marine Raider veteran husband of 51 years, Mike Beeler, all over the world. Timi was also a World War II veteran in the Navy. She was a resident of Evansville, Indiana for 33 years and graduated from the University of Evansville, after which she worked in Vanderburgh , Evansville as a Social Worker for many years. She will be dearly missed by all. Survivors include her children, Debbie Schlichte and her husband Mike, David, Dirk, and Duane and his wife Lori; grandchildren, Michael Beeler and his wife Angela, Brian Beeler, Megan Schlichte, and Ryan and Katherine Beeler; sister, Mary Ann Allmann and her husband Jack; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, , 19, 2015, at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Blvd., Sugar Land, with the Rev. Drew Wood, Celebrant. The Rite of Committal will follow at 12:30 PM, at Houston National , 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, with full military honors. In lieu of customary remembrances, and for those desiring, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to either the Catholic Charities, 2900 Louisiana St., Houston, TX 77006, or to the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, 3800 Fettler Park Dr., Suite 104, Dumfries, VA 22025. |

Obituary: Margaret S. Beeler, 89, passed away , 23, 2014. She was born 28, 1924 in East St. Louis, Illinois to the late Harry C. and Hazel McHenry Spicer. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. Margaret was a member of the First Baptist Church, Port Lavaca, and a member of the Violet Chapter 158 Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her children, James R. Beeler and wife Brenda of Port Lavaca; Jack E. Beeler of Victoria; and Nancy Peikert of Inez; grandchildren, Scott Beeler and wife Suzy, Shannon Beeler and wife Jennifer, Kyle Beeler and wife Jessica, Christopher Peikert, Kevin Burkhardt and wife Kathy, Brian Burkhardt and wife Chencha; and great grandchildren, Sydney Beeler, Isaac Beeler, Hayle Beeler, Brandon Beeler, Justin Beeler, Kelley Beeler, Amanda Beeler, Ashley Burkhardt, Matthew Burkhardt and Kinsley Burkhardt. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 65 years, George C. Beeler; sisters, Thais Black, Thelma Gindler, Harriet Spicer and Ima Jean Baggett; brother, Paul Spicer and son-in-law, Richard Peikert. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 pm, , 26, 2014, followed by a Service to be held at 2:00 pm, Colonial with Rev. David Bush and Rev. Mike Gresham officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens , Victoria.
