Obituary: Enoyse Beavers, age 95, passed away on 22, 2008, at St. Lukes Baptist Hospital in San Antonio. She was born on 22, 1913, in Wapanucka, Oklahoma, to James Emory and Ella Addison Walton, who moved from Oklahoma to Jourdanton, Texas in 1931. Enoyse married Olen Conroe Beavers in 1934 and they were the parents of four children, Freddy Walton Beavers, Barbara Enoyse Welch, Virginia Edith Oliver and Nancy Ann Dickey. Enoyse was preceded in death by her husband, Olen Conroe Beavers in 1975 as well as eight of her nine brothers and sisters. Only one younger sister, Mary Edith Wimberley, at age 91, lives in California. Besides her four children, there are 13 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. Enoyse Beavers was a member of Shearer Hills Baptist Church and attended regularly until her health prevented her from doing so. Obituary: Betty Faye Lawlis Beavers, 84, formerly of Lubbock, passed away 20, 2016, at her home in Austin after a lengthy illness. Now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Joe Beavers, son Clifford Ray and daughter Barbara Dianne. Betty was born 31, 1932, at Lawlis Flats near Sylvester, Texas, to Ruby F. Gibson Lawlis and Palmer W. Doc Lawlis. She married Joe F. Beavers of Hamlin in 1947. lived briefly in Tokio, Texas and then moved to Lubbock about 1950 where they owned and operated a ditching business and mobile home park. were long-time members of Redbud Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her baby daughter Barbara in 1952, son Clifford in 1986, husband Joe in 1992, and sister Peggy Gilley in 1995. Betty was a homemaker and activist for mental health/retardation issues and testified before state legislative committees on behalf of the Lubbock State School, where she often volunteered. She deeply loved her family, especially her three grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tyler Beavers, Jerel Murrah, Patrick Highbaugh, Phil Woods, Mark Gibson, and Dwain Lane. Honorary pallbearers are Gene Lynskey, Mark Kovalcik, Perry Lynskey Jr., Jeff Lynskey and Marcus Kovalcik. Officiating will be Rev. Jeff Sedberry of Aspermont. She is survived by her son, Dr. Guy R. Beavers and wife Donna of Austin; three grandchildren, Kali Beavers Highbaugh and husband Patrick of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, Krista Beavers and Tyler Beavers of Austin; two sisters, Pam Gibson of Lubbock and Joy Holcomb of Big Spring; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Obituary: services for Allen Douglas Doug Beavers, 75, of Mabank, formerly of Terrell, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. , May 11, 2015 at Allan Fuller Chapel in Wills Point. Interment will follow at Mound near Terrell. He passed away early morning, May 8, 2015 in a Dallas hospital. Doug was born 24, 1939, in Lawrence, the son of Allen Lowell Beavers and Thelma Irene Lester Beavers. He was raised in Terrell and graduated from Terrell High School in 1957. He later attended Henderson Junior . On 22, 1960, he married Frances Charlene Stewart near Terrell. In 1984, he retired from Western Electric , where he was employed in telecommunications. He enjoyed being a Boy Scout Leader and fishing. Doug loved his family very much and had a special bond with his grandchildren by attending their sports activities. He lived most of his life in Terrell prior to moving to Mabank two years ago. He was a lifelong Mason and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Kaufman. Preceded in death by his parents. Doug is survived by his wife, Charlene Beavers, of Mabank; son, Chuck Beavers & wife, Tabatha, of Gun Barrel City; daughter, Debbie Kinney & husband, Ken, of Wills Point; seven grandchildren, Justin Shane Kinney & wife, Crystal, Chad Micheal Kinney, Aaron Russell Kinney, Kryslyn Ann Beavers, Celina Rachéal Beavers, Lacy Nichole Beavers and Zackery Allen Beavers; two great-granddaughters, Brook Michelle Kinney and Riley Elizabeth Kinney; niece, Nikki Gill and a great-nephew, Dominic Gill. Family will receive friends at the funeral home night from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. |
