He was born on May 7, 1979 in Austin, graduated from ers High School in San Antonio in 1997, and Texas Lutheran University in 2000. He was attending Lutheran Seminary of S.W. His sister, Jessica Barkemeyer; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Barkemeyer; and his grandfather, Herman Larson; preceded him in death. Survivors include his parents, Hubert and Jenny Barkemeyer; brother, Jason Barkemeyer; grandmother, Ursula Larson; fiancée, Jennifer Screws; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Obituary: Paul Leslie Bark of Burleson passed away on , 26, 2015. Service will be held at Moore on , 5, at 10:30 am, with a visitation 1 hour prior to service at 9:30 am. Committal service held at DFW National following the service. Paul was born in Tarentum, Pennsylvania, on 23, 1934. He attended Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia., where he met his beloved wife, Betsey, who was attending Southern Seminary in Buena Vista, Virginia. were married on 10, 1958 and then entered military life at that time with the United States Army until Paul's military retirement in 1973. retirement they moved to Arlington, Texas. In 1979 he began teaching Government & History at Nolan Catholic High School in Fort Worth, until his retirement in 1990. Paul & Betsey then moved to Burleson in 1992 and had a second home in a military community in Melbourne, Florida. Paul was a decorated Veteran who served 3 tours in Vietnam. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather who will be sorely missed. He devoted his life to his family and friends, and we find peace in knowing that he & Betsey are reunited again. Paul was predeceased by his wife Betsey, his oldest son, Paul Dandridge Bark; and his parents, Paul and Dorothy Bark. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Lecia and Joe Willingham of Lake Worth; son and daughter-in-law, William and Terrie Bark of Frisco; grandchildren, Joey Willingham, Elizabeth and husband, Brian Engelhardt, and William F. Bark Jr.; great-grandchildren, Aiden and Mason Engelhardt; and sister, Patricia Lorraine of Lititz, Pennsylvania. |

St. Joseph St., Perryville, Mo. 63775-1598, 800-264-6279. Betsey was born in Huntington, W.Va., on 10, 1938. She attended Southern Seminary in Buena Vista, Va., where she met her husband, Paul L. Bark, who was attending Virginia Military Institute. Their 56-year marriage began upon both of their graduations on 10, 1958. entered military life at that time with the United States Army until Paul's military retirement in 1973. retirement they moved to Arlington. Betsey received her bachelor's degree in education at the University of Texas at Arlington. She was a beloved teacher during her entire career, first at St. Maria Goretti Catholic School in Arlington and then Nolan Catholic High School in Fort Worth, until her retirement in 1990. moved to Burleson in 1992 and had a second home in a military community in Melbourne, Fla. Betsey enjoyed a host of dear students and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a woman of deep faith. Her close family was her greatest joy in life, whom she loved and guided with grace, kindness, strength and friendship, and will be sorely missed.
