Mrs. Barber died , May 23, 2015 at Green Acres in Huntsville. She was born 21, 1921 in Waukegan to Elbert L. and Minnie Brown Kelley. Survivors include her son, Kelley Barber of Huntsville; brother, Barry L. Obituary: Henry (Hank) Leo Barber, 56, passed away 10, 2010 after a two year battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on 4, 1954 in Hershey, Pennsylvania to Leo and Hannah Barber. Hank graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA in 1976. He worked for Beverly Enterprises, Mariner , Living s, and Remington Medical Resorts in the area of finance. Hank also served in leadership positions for the Texas care Association. He received numerous awards for his service in the nursing home industry. Hank was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather to his family. He especially enjoyed going to sporting events especially the Texas Longhorns football and Round Rock Express games. He also loved going to the beach with his grandson Ryan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Hannah Barber and father-in-law, John Barry. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Laurie Barber; his daughter, Courtney Dinnen; his grandson, Ryan Dinnen; his brother, Mike Barber and sister-in-law, Rhonda and their daughters Candice and Alex; sister, Donna Trolenberg and daughters, Natalie and Kristel; brother-in-law, John Barry; sisters-in-law, Linda Esposito and husband Frank and daughter Aja; Alice Landry and husband, John and children Reilly, Shane, and Kai; and mother-in-law Jean Barry. A celebration gathering in Hank honor will be held on , 17, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills , 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, Texas. The family would like to thank Dr. Laura Beaty and their wonderful staff as well as the staff who provided kind care to Hank at the Lighthouse Hospice Altenheim. Obituary: Henry Goodson Barber passed at 6:00 PM, , 5, 2002. He was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Corine Jones Barber. He was born in Parker , Weatherford, Texas, on 13, 1906 to Mr. and Mrs. W. Barber. He was the second son in a family of nine children. He graduated from Weatherford Junior and held a Masters Degree from Texas A & M University. A sister and four brothers, his son, Don Randall Barber of San Antonio, Texas, and his wife, Ann; three grandchildren, Ann Blake Barber of Houston, Texas, Don Randall Barber, II of San Antonio, Texas, and Kathryn Barber Eckel and her husband, Steve; one great grandchild, Miller Susan Eckel survived him. Henry was a loving and devoted father, caring grandfather, practicing Christian and a committed schoolteacher. He taught 8 years in Parker and Fisher counties, 4 years in Harold, Texas, and then moved to Floydada, Texas, where he taught for 30 years. He retired in 1969 and moved back to Weatherford where he lived until 1991. At that time, he moved to a retirement home in San Antonio. Henry Barber was active in all his communities. He was a practicing Baptist, a registered Democrat, a Mason and a member of the Chamber of Commerce as well as a life member of the Retired Teachers Association of Texas. He help organize the Parker Chapter of the Retired Teachers Association and served as itÂs first president. He served as president of the Floydada, Texas, Rotary Club and was the state president of the Vocational Teachers of Texas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Floydada, Texas, where he taught a menÂs School Class; was chairman of the Board of Deacons for 30 years, chaired a pastor search committee; and sang in the church choir. When he moved to Weatherford, Texas, he joined the First Baptist Church of Weatherford where he was an active member. He was currently a member of Trinity Baptist Church of San Antonio. Texas. Obituary: Helen Irene Barber passed away on 13, 2010 in Houston, TX. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon) and Temple worker at the Houston, Texas Temple. She was a great wife, mother and grandmother and great grandmother who epitomized Christ-like love, not only to her own family, but to her neighbors as well. Helen is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years Lynne Raymond Barber; brother, Murlvin Eugene Anderson; sister, Mary Margaret King; and grandson, Matthew Garron Barber.
