Obituary: Gary Lee Bannert, 63, passed away on , Dec. 22, 2014. He was born on 29, 1951 in San Angelo to Henry Bannert and Alma Ruth Marth. Gary worked in the electrical business for 40 plus years. He loved every minute of it and for most of that time he worked right beside his brother Raymond. He worked for Pelzel Electric, and then moved on to working for the San Angelo Independent School District. He retired from there in May 2014 with 27 years of service. retirement, he decided he couldn sit still. So he went to work with his son Conan at North Texas Tubular in Ozona. Gary was a very loving and kind hearted man that would do anything for anyone before doing for himself. Words can describe how wonderful he was. Gary loved wrapping his arms around his kids and grandkids to let them know everything would be okay. Garys happiest moments in 2014 were when he was able to be in Oklahoma with his first born granddaughter Kourtney, and when he was able to welcome his great-grandson Lucas into the world. He was loved by many and will be truly missed. Gary was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Wanda Bannert; children: Michelle Eldridge and husband Mark of Washington, Jason Bannert of Marble Falls, Texas, Conan Ordiway and wife Mary of San Angelo, Mary Ordiway Doty and husband Justin (JoJo) of Oklahoma, Jessica Saarloos of California, and Kelby Bannert and Jerod Anderson both of San Angelo; siblings: Cathryn Nelson and husband Emil (Ed), Raymond Bannert, Sr. and wife Cecelia (Sam), and Randy Bannert, all of San Angelo; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and adopted children. |

Obituary: Evelyn S. Banner, 94, of North Richland Hills passed away peacefully surrounded by family , Aug. 3, 2014. Services are scheduled to commence at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Bluebonnet Hills , 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville. Mrs. Banner will be laid to rest next to her husband, Mr. Charles R. Banner Sr., in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park immediately following the service. Friends are invited to gather from 6 to 8 p.m. to share memories in the Cherry Drawing Room of Bluebonnet Hills . Evelyn was born 15, 1920, to Bedford and Fannie Johnston Shelton in San Antonio. Evelyn grew up in Kingsville. She married Charles R. Banner Sr. in 1943, and moved to Corpus Christi where they lived until they retired to Tyler. Together they had one son, Charles R. Banner Jr. Evelyn was active at Southside Christian Church of Tyler and was very active at Keller Oaks Heath until her passing. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Charles R. Banner Sr.; her parents, Bedford and Fannie Shelton; brothers, James and Donald Shelton; and sister, Louise Stivors. Obituary: Ernest Teddy Banner Jr., age 83, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away at his home on 4, 2016. Teddy, the youngest of three children, was born to Elise and Ernest Banner Sr. on 14, 1933. All of whom proceeded him in death. He graduated from Pflugerville High School in 1950 and enlisted in the Air Force in 1951 where he proudly served his country until 1954. leaving the Air Force, Teddy began his career with the United States Postal Service. He retired in of 1992. A year later he married his wife Carol Banner of 22 years who survives him. retirement, Teddy spent his time gardening and helping on a ranch here in Georgetown, Texas.
