Obituary: Erin Bandy, age 51, passed away on 6th, 2015 after a brave battle with cancer. Born in Louisiana, she had lived in Pasadena, Texas, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and had been a resident of Victoria since 1973. She was a 1983 graduate of Victoria High school and attended Victoria . Erin was employed by Howard Goode and associates until she became ill.

Erin enjoyed traveling and spending time at the beach in Port Aransas with her many friends. A lover of cats, she gave many stray cats a home over the years. Her sense of humor and capacity to enjoy life will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her parents, C. L. Bandy of Wimberley, Texas, and Nancy Bandy of Victoria. The family would like to thank all her friends who provided support throughout her illness. A special thanks to Jan Tuso for her care and support. Thanks also to Francis Soliz and Hospice of South Texas.

Obituary: Donald Wayne Bandy, 77, of Marble Falls died at his home May 4, 2016 surrounded by his family following an extended battle with metastatic lung cancer. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. , May 6th, at Clements-Wilcox . Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. , May 7th, also at the Clements-Wilcox with Charles Hundley officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
Don was born 1, 1938 in Tokio, TX to Royal Hayden Bandy and Tincy Tucker Bandy. He attended school in Plains, Milsap and Weatherford and served in the United States Air Force at Keesler AFB (Biloxi, MS), Ellington AFB (Houston) and Tachikawa AFB (Tachikawa, Japan).
Don was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Gayle Bowen and Bobbie King. He is survived by his wife Cheryl King Bandy, son Dan Bandy of Shawnee, OK, daughter and son-in-law Laurel and Todd Pickens of Fort Stockton, brother and sister-in-law Jack and Nancy Bandy of Marble Falls, brother-in-law Pete Bowen of Haskell, grandsons Cooper and Tucker Pickens of Fort Stockton, numerous nieces and nephews and the mother of his children Elaine Mattson Bandy of Kingsland.
Don and his family moved to the Marble Falls area in 1971 at which time he founded Don Bandy Construction which performed dirt work, road construction and paving throughout the Texas Hill Country. In the early 1970s thru the 1980s Don Bandy Construction constructed and paved roads for many large area projects including Horseshoe Bay, Apple Rock, Apple Head, Lago Vista, The Hills of Lakeway, Billy Clark Subdivision and the 3M Research facility near Austin. The company also completed 18 subdivisions in 18 months for developer Nash Phillips/Copus during the height of the 80s Austin building boom. Near Marble Falls Don developed Westwood Hills subdivision, then partnered with his good friend Allen Edge to develop Ancient Oaks subdivision and with Don Schautteet to develop Quail Valley subdivision. He was proudest of these three projects as they provided nice areas to grow families.
Don also contributed to improvements in Marble Falls in the early 80s, doing site work to build the soccer fields between Sixth Street and Broadway and the dirt work and rock moving for the Charley Taylor Rodeo Arena south of town. In 1980, he received the Honorary Chapter Farmer award from the Marble Falls FFA and was a proud support of kids and their Ag projects for many years in Burnet .
Don met and married Cheryl King in 1987. were blessed with two grandsons who Da particularly loved singing to even though the old tunes and funny stories often made them laugh and cover their ears.
Don had a strong Christian faith. Prior to moving to Marble Falls he was a member of and served as a deacon for the Christian Church of Midland. At the time of his death he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marble Falls where he loved attending the AHA School class. The class members were with him and prayed him through many of his health issues. Helping him to remember Because Christ Lives he could face them all knowing that at the end he would be with Jesus. The men of the AHA School class will serve as his pallbearers.

Obituary: Michael Bandru, Jr., a resident of Dallas, TX, passed away on 29, 2014 in Mesquite, TX. He was born on 18, 1935 to parents Michael and Anna Bandru, Sr. of Scrantos, PA.



Michael proudly served his country and retired after 20 years of faithful service with the United States Air Force. He then went on to work for the City of Dallas Waste Water Treatment Plant, where he was able to retire after ten years. Known as “Grandpa” to his family, Michael might have been “a hard man to know”, but he dearly loved his family and would do anything that anyone ever asked of him.



Michael is preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Helen Bandru; daughters Isolene Rogers and husband, Harrell, Gina Gilbreath and husband, Shawn; granddaughters: Angela McKenzie and Erica Jackson; great-grandsons: Dylan McKenzie, Brennan McKenzie and Jace Stein; brother: Edward Bandru; numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.



Family will receive friends at a visitation 6-8pm. 2, 2014 at Roselawn Seagoville, Texas. Graveside funeral service will be 10:00am in the Garden of Scriptures, Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Seagoville, Texas. Bro. Dwight Prather officiating.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 59 years, Michael; sister Twyla Myers; brother Dwayne Hopkins and nephew Joel Myers.

Left with cherished memories is her daughter Isolene Rodgers & husband Harrell; daughter Gina Gilbreath & husband Shawn ; granddaughters Angela McKenzie & husband Scottie and Erica Jackson; great grandsons, Dylan McKenzie, Brennan McKenzie, Jace Stein, Jayden Jackson and numerous other family loved ones and beloved friends.

Helen enjoyed simpler things and she was an avid reader. She liked to work crossword puzzles and also enjoyed cooking. She loved the Lord and her family and she treasured her time in church and with immediate and extended families.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. 15, 2017 at Roselawn , Seagoville, Texas. A graveside service to celebrate Helen’s life will be at10:00 A.M. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Seagoville, Texas. Helen will be laid to rest beside her loving and devoted husband Michael in the Garden of Scripture.

Obituary: Leida Ilda Bandini, née Cano, died peacefully in her home on 7, 2015 in Pearland, Texas at the age of 81, surrounded by family and friends that she so dearly loved.
Leida is survived by her three sons and their respective families, all of whom live in Houston. Her oldest son is Carlos Ruben Bandini, married to Nancy Mirta Pregrasso; they have four children: Sabrina Ruth, Timothy Aldo, Matthew Neil and Sharron Anne. Her middle son is Federico Daniel Bandini, married to Susana Mabel Ribeiro; they have three children: Amanda Erin, Veronica Andrea and Wesley Ryan. Her youngest son is David Aldo Bandini, married to Lisa Lee Hively; they have two children: Tyler David and Tanner Lee. Leida has three great-grandchildren: Jacob Luke and Hannah Elizabeth, children of Sabrina and her husband Guillermo Acuña, and Emma Aurora, daughter of Veronica and her husband Motoi Otsuki, with a fourth great-grandchild on the way - Bianca Rose, daughter of Amanda and her husband Johnathan Yazdani. Leida is survived by many dear nieces and nephews. She had a very special relationship with her sister Nelly Diaz and her sisters three daughters - Nilda Bryant, Haydee Diaz and Adriana Roldan. She also had a very special best-friend whom she met in 1961, who was like a sister, Antonia (Ñica) Barroso.
Leida is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 26 years, Aldo Carlos Bandini, her parents who were born in Spain - mother Josefa Valenzuela and father Juan Cano, her two sisters Nelly Diaz and Josefa (Ñata) Navarrete, and her three brothers Antonio Cano, Francisco Cano and Juan Cano.
Leida was born on 22, 1933 in Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina. She was the youngest of six children. She met her future husband in the town plaza in 1949. She married Aldo Carlos Bandini on 27, 1954. Leida, her husband Aldo, and two children born in Argentina - Ruben and Federico - immigrated to Texas in 1960. Her youngest son David was later born in Texas City, Texas in 1964. The couple welcomed their three sons into their home, and Leida set about teaching them to love God and neighbor. The family moved to Houston in 1970. Her children remember Leida as a loving mother, caring friend, and Godly woman who always encouraged them and their families.
Leida was a kind and prayerful woman who loved reading her Bible and encouraging her family, friends, and members of her church. She loved and honored her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a founding and active member of South Houston Spanish Bible Chapel since 1982.
services are scheduled for , 11 and , 12 at Forest Park East, located at 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX 77598. Juan DiCesare, Pastor of Verdad En Amor Church, will officiate the services.
