She was in the childrens ministry teaching School, church plays, and many other activities for several years. Billie was also a Cub Scout Den Mother. Billie is preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 60 years, Arnold Baggett. He passed away in 2001. Now, they are together again. Billie is survived by her three sons, Leonard Baggett, Larry Baggett, and Terry Baggett; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruth Baggett and Doris Clements of Louisiana. Obituary: services for Billy Baggett, 79, of Arlington, formerly of Wills Point, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. , 20, 2014, at Allan Fuller Chapel in Wills Point with Mr. Walter Hatchell and Mr. Joe Cook officiating. Interment will follow at White Rose in Wills Point. He passed away evening, 15, 2014 at his residence. Bill was born on 23, 1934, in Corsicana, Texas, the son of William Harvey Baggett and Mary Margaret Watts Baggett. He was raised in Wills Point. On 17, 1959, he married Ruby Delois Cook in Dallas. Bill was employed by General Motors in Arlington for forty-three years, retiring in 2006. He lived in Dallas prior to moving to Arlington fifty years ago. Bill enjoyed fishing, roller skating and watching the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys. He was a member of the Auto Workers Union 276. Bill was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by his parents, William Harvey and Mary Margaret Baggett; son, Dennis Baggett; sister, Betty Warren; niece, Marilyn Geisler; parents-in-law, Joe & Ruby Cook; three sisters-in-law, Faye Roach, Juanita Langley and Nell Slocum and five brothers-in-law, Floyd West, Gene West, Robert Edward Jack Cook, Roy Leon Cook and Wayne Cook. Obituary: Our hearts are saddened as we share the loss of our loved one, Betty Baggett. She was born 8, 1933 in Denison, TX and died 13, 2010 in Plano, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband Tommy Baggett. Mrs. Baggett was very creative, being a talented artist in many different media. She was adventurous and traveled widely. Mrs. Baggett cared for her family and will be greatly missed. Left to cherish memories of her are sons, Tommy Baggett, Jr. and wife Pam; Wayne Baggett and wife Sylvia; John Baggett; Bobby Baggett and Kevin Roberts; and daughter Valerie Murray. The family will receive visitors at the home of Mr and Mrs Lendon Ray. A public reception will be held following the Memorial Service in the the Family Life . are by Schooler , 4100 S. Georgia, Amarillo. Mary left her worldly home to join her Lord and loving family members and friends in Heaven, after courageously battling an illness for many years. She was born the seventh of 8 children to Jean Anson Quirk and Alberta Bell Carver Quirk of Groom, Texas on 5, 1940. Raised on the farm in Groom, she experienced all the joys and trials that a farm family faced. She attended Groom School and graduated in 1958. Mary married Nace Baggerman on 29, 1958 in Groom. began farming together, and make their home in Claude over fifty years ago. From 1961 to 1963 Mary and Nace also lived briefly in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and then Lawton, Oklahoma when Nace was drafted into the Army. While in Lawton, Mary attended beauty school, received her license, and started a long career of hair dressing. During that time while Nace was in the service, they made friendships that have lasted until Marys last day here on earth: she treasured those friendships. For many years Mary enjoyed being Aunt Mary to many nieces and nephews—they were her love and solace. eleven years of marriage, Mary gave birth to Gena and four years later, Gigi. She relished her role as Mother. Mary also had the privilege to be a Host Mother to exchange student Cathrin Klinger from Germany and loved her like her own. She loved chasing after her girls to countless ball games, cheerleading events, parties, and trips to visit and play while they were in college—and the list could go on and on. In 2001, she was blessed with her first grandchild, Jett and her new role as Omie was born. She absolutely delighted in it. Three years later she witnessed the birth of twin granddaughters, Sadie and Madie and another granddaughter, Jozi, arrived in 2007. Those grand babies were truly her bliss. For 47 years, Mary enjoyed her work as a hair dresser, and behind the chair, the conversations laughter, and tears of so many friends made work not seem like work at all when she reflected back on those times. She was the owner of Genas Boutique; she liked the trips to market in Dallas and sharing all the fun fashions and pretties she brought back to her community. She also loved to cook and entertain—Mary loved being a host and was great at it. Mary was a member of the United Methodist Church of Claude for over 53 years. She was a School teacher for just over 42 of those years, and was a high school youth leader for many years as well. She loved her church and her community, and most of all she loved the Lord and her family and friends. Mary and her family were and are so thankful for the wonderful care and devotion of the many doctors and nurses who helped her fight her illness with dignity and grace for such a long time. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Alberta Quirk, sister Georgia Jean Turner of Hobbs, Brother Jean (Tom) Quirk of Dumas, sister Evelyn and brother-in-law W. H. Ollinger of Groom, brother John Quirk of Fritch, brother Jack Quirk of Amarillo, brother, Jerry Quirk of Dickinson. Mary is survived by her husband of 57 years, Nace Baggerman of Claude, daughter, Gena and son-in-law Lendon Ray and granddaughters Sadie and Madie Ray of Claude, daughter Gigi and son-in-law Phillip Heermans and grandchildren Jett and Jozi Heermans of Austin and exchange daughter Cathrin Klinger of Enger, Germany. Other survivors include her sister Shirley and brother-in-law Husted of Irving, sister-in-law Antoinette (Toni) Quirk of Amarillo, brother-in-law Gaylon Jean Turner of Hobbs, and many, many nieces and nephews and Coco.
