Obituary: James Babb entered through the Gates of Gods Eternal Kingdom to report for Heavenly Duty on May 16, 2014. Jim, affectionately known as Jimmy while growing up, was born 2, 1936 in Quanah, Texas to Oren and Dorris Babb. He was raised in Eldorado, Oklahoma and later moved to Altus. Jim joined the National Guard in 1956 and enlisted in the Army 4 years later. In 1965, Jim met and married his wife, Julia. Shortly afterward, he adopted her two small children, Rebecca and Giles. Jims 20-year Army career consisted of state side and overseas Tours of Duty, including England, Germany and Vietnam where he flew in helicopters delivering medical supplies to M.A.S.H. units. retiring from the Army, Jim worked another 18 years in Maintenance for the Judson Independent School District. Jim was active in the AVA (American Volkssport Association), VFW, Friendship Force, Owners Association and Neighborhood Cellular on Patrol. Jim is preceded in death by his parents and wife. He is survived by his sister, Marita; brother, Gary; Daughter and Son. Jim was always a courageous, loving and generous man. He was a wonderful husband and father. Obituary: DENISON - Cynthia L. Babb, 47, of Denison, Texas passed away on , 3, 2013 into the loving arms of our heavenly Father, after many years of illnesses. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., , 6, 2013 at Bratcher Chapel with Elder Billie Asbill officiating. Cynthia was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on , 28, 1966 to Arthur and Geraldine Baldwin. She graduated high school at Kent Occupational High School in Kentwood, Michigan. She moved to Texas at age 19 and resided here till her death. She was a homemaker; a wonderful grandmother; a huge football fan of the Detroit Lions and a devout fan of the Texas Rangers. She is preceded in death by her sister Katherine Baldwin in 1980; father Arthur Baldwin in 1990 and sister Shirley Tanis in 2004. She is survived by her husband Jesus Guardiola of Denison; sons Jerry Williams of Bonham & Cory Williams of Denison; mother Geraldine Baldwin of Whitewright; sister Christine Bowman & husband James of Whitewright; brother Arthur Baldwin, Jr. of Grand Rapids, Michigan and a very special granddaughter Allana of Denison.
