He was a well-known Electrician, avid rabbit hunter and loved fishing in Broad River. He was a championship crappie fisherman. He enjoyed his morning Fellowship at Hardees. He was well loved by all that knew him and he loved his family. Mr. Bundrick is survived by his son, Sonny Ray Bundrick, Jr. (Tammy) of Chapin; daughter, Christy Mills (Douglas) of Little Mountain; grandchildren, Sonny Ray Trey Bundrick, III, Alyssa Brooke Seals, Michael Lee Seals, Jr., Stephanie Anne Bundrick, Emily Grace Mills, Ryan Douglas Mills and Katie Lynn Mills; brother, Bunyan Lee Bundrick (Vernell) of Chapin; sisters, Brenda Griffin (Harvey) of Silverstreet and Linda Lou Richardson (Eddie) of Little Mountain; mother of his children, Mary Frances Bundrick; girlfriend, Elinor Elliott and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and Sonny Shealy, longtime working partner and friend. His funeral will be held , 26, 2016 at Saluda River Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with a private burial to follow. Jimmy was born 29, 1940 in Chapin, SC. He was the son of the late Asbury Franklin Bundrick and Mary Lou Meetze Bundrick. He was a 1958 graduate of Columbia High School and has been married to Marilyn Lindler Bundrick for 51 years. For over 40 years he owned and operated Bundricks Kar Kare in downtown Columbia after serving our country in the U.S. Navy for 7 years. He was an active member of Saluda River Baptist Church. He loved helping in the church, and served in many capacities over the years. He was also very active in the State and Lexington Republican Parties. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn; son, Eric (Deonna) Bundrick of Leesville; daughter, Andrea Bundrick of Lexington; grandchildren, James, Emily and Sarah Grace of Leesville; grand-dog Bubba; brothers, Roland (Janice) Bundrick of Waco, TX, Richard (Shirley) Bundrick of West Columbia and sister, Margaret Mabe of Gilbert. Obituary: CHAPIN - Cecil M. Bundrick, 79, went home to the Lord on , 26, 2017. He was surrounded by family and loved ones as he would have it no other way. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ollie Jeanette Bundrick; sons, Jerry M. Bundrick (Amy), Randy D. Bundrick (Shannon); daughter, Judy J. Miller (Derek); ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren with one on the way. Cecil was born 24, 1937 in Chapin to the late Jesse ONeal and Lillie Mae Bundrick. Pop was a simple man that loved his family with all he had. He taught us; you gain life through Jesus Christ, your heart and your hands. He loved Jesus and our family; he worked and played hard. He will be missed and forever loved. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Columbia Heart Hospital. Obituary: XO Bunch, Jr. of North Charleston, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on 23, 2015. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on , 26, 2015 at the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel. His Service will be held at the North Charleston United Methodist Church at 1125 East Montague at 2:00 p.m. on , 27, 2015 and will conclude graveside at Target United Methodist Church in Holly Hill with assistance from Avinger . Buck, as he was affectionately known, was born on 4, 1919 in Orangeburg, South Carolina, the only child of XO Bunch, Sr. and Annie Mae Holman Bunch. He grew up in Holly Hill where he attended the local schools and Target United Methodist Church. He graduated from the Citadel in 1940 with a degree in Civil Engineering. While at The Citadel, Buck was a member of the elite Summerall Guard. Upon graduation, Buck worked for the South Carolina Department of Transportation in bridge construction. With World War II approaching, highway construction was put on hold. For a short period of time, he worked in construction until he joined George Hughes at Hughes Transportation and Hughes Motors, Inc. Together, they built one of the largest truck ammunition carriers and the second oldest Mack Truck Dealership in the nation. the death of Mr. Hughes, Buck continued in transportation, merging Hughes Transportation with Tri State Motor Transit. He expanded the truck sales and service business to form Bunch Truck Group with five locations spanning two states, representing Mack, Volvo and Isuzu Trucks. Along the way, he developed other businesses to include KOA Campground in Ladson as well as Plantation Acres Mobile Park and The Mini Warehouse of Goose Creek. Buck loved Holly Hill. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing cards with his buddies at his pond house in Four Hole Swamp.He was a past president of the North Charleston Rotary Club, a Paul Harris Fellow, and active member of North Charleston United Methodist Church, past director of the Trident Chamber of Commerce, Director Emeritus of the Roper Foundation, life member of The Citadel Brigadier Club, The Citadel Foundation, Member Emeritus of the Hibernian Society. Buck was also a member of the Omar Shrine Temple and was a Mason. He was past president of the South Carolina Trucking Association. As well as being active in many civic organizations over the years, Buck also served on several bank boards. Buck is survived by his two sons, David Wayne Bunch and his wife, Judy, of Awendaw, and Wilbur Dexter XO Bunch, and his wife, , of Hanahan; his grandchildren, Kimberly Drake, and her friend, Robert Vestrand, William Duncan XO Bunch and his wife, Stephanie, Darcie Mullinax and her husband, Kert, Anna Bunch, Maggie Kindt and her husband, John, Douglas Bunch and his wife, Rachel, and John Stortz of Los Angeles, CA. He is also survived by his nine great grandchildren: Noah Drake, Isabella Drake, Caleb Vestrand, Kam Mullinax, Brooks Mullinax, Shepherd Bunch, XO Bunch, III (Dax), Ryn Bunch, and Ford Bunch. He was predeceased by his precious wife of 67 years, Cathryn Smith Bunch.Buck always felt that every member of the XO Bunch Organization was part of his family.
