Obituary: Lynn W. Boal, 97, of Clearfield, passed away on , 30, 2010 at the Clearfield Hospital. Mr. Boal was born on 28, 1913 in Clearfield, PA and was the son of Charles and Ella (Cleaver) Boal. Along with his wife Amelia, he was co-owner/operator of the former Captains Table Restaurant and Motel in Clearfield. Mr. Boal was also the first businessman in Clearfield to own and operate an automatic car wash, the Voyager Motel and a large restaurant. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Rotary Club of Clearfield and had served as a volunteer with the American Red Cross, where he served as the secretary and treasurer. He was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church of Clearfield. Mr. Boal is survived by a daughter, Eleanor Penoyer of Clearfield, four grandchildren: Amy Miceli, Brenda Boal, Jamie Boal and Barbara Winkler, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Amelia P. (Heller) Boal on 26, 2004 and whom he married on 18, 1935, a son, Dennis M. Boal on May 5, 1986, a grandson, Lynn Rabik on 18, 2008. Mr. Boal is also the last member of his generation, having been preceded in death by six sisters and five brothers. services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on , 5, 2011 at the Bennett and Houser , Inc., of Clearfield with Rev. Mark Brower officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest . Friends will be received at the funeral home on , 3, 2011 from 7-9 P.M., , 4, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. and on from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of services. Obituary: Carole L. Boal, 72, of Boardman, passed away , 27, 2015. Mrs. Boal was born 26, 1942 in Brookvield, OH, the daughter of Robert S. and Ruth M. ( ) Stauffer. She was a graduate of Clearfield High School, class of 1961. Mrs. Boal had been employed as a hairdresser and had been a representative for Interior, retiring in 2005. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Curwensville. Mrs. Boal is survived by her husband, Ernest L. Boal whom she married in of 1961, three children: Kenneth L. Boal and his wife Kelly of Duncansville, Barbara A. Panebianco and her husband Rick of Ridgway and Michael T. Boal and his wife Jeannie of Boardman, twelve grandchildren, a great granddaughter, two brothers: Fred Stauffer of Deltona, FL and William Stauffer of New York and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Boyd and Thomas Stauffer and a sister, Juanita Stauffer. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on , 4, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Curwensville with Rev. Daniel M. Osterhout officiating. Interment will be in Fruit Hill .
