Obituary: Mildred Evelyn Millie Searcy was born on May 20, 1926 in McClain , Oklahoma to Charles & Martha Searcy. She had 4 siblings, Walter, Raz, Jerry, John and Leona. Millie attended Strathmore High School in central California, where she met the love of her life, William Bill Van Beek. On May 23, 1946, Millie exchanged wedding vows with Bill in Yuma, Arizona. The inseparable couple had three children, Billy, Don, and Kandi. were also blessed with two grandchildren, Loren II. and Laura Michelle. Mildred attended the United Pentecostal Church in Oregon City, Oregon for approximately 39 years. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Donald and Rebecca Van Beek, her daughter and son-in-law Kandi and Loren Brown, and her two grandchildren Loren Brown II. and Laura Michelle Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill and her son, Billy. Millie will be remembered most for her love of gardening and her love for her children and grandchildren. Obituary: Walter C. Beeghly Walter C. Beeghly, 91 years old died in his home in Eagle Creek, Oregon, 11, 2011. Walter was born on 1, 1920 in Dubois, Idaho to William Truman and Victoria Dolly Beeghly. His family moved to Yakima, Washington in 1929. He lived in his home on Roosevelt Avenue for 71 years. He moved to Eagle Creek, Oregon of 2006. Walter enjoyed being near his family and was able to enjoy his grandchildren, great grandchildren. Walter graduated from Yakima High School in 1938. He worked for Burlington Northern Railroad until he entered the service on 3, 1943. He was a cook for the Military Police in the Army until 8, 1946. Two years were served in Alaska and the remainder of time was served stateside. Upon discharge from the Army, he returned to work for the railroad and retired 31, 1981 after 41 and a half years. Walter married Norma Jackson on 27, 1953. had a son, Donald Eugene on 3, 1954. Walter adopted Normas two daughters, Norma Jean and Thelma Louise on 27, 1954. Walter is survived by his wife Norma, daughter and son-in-law, Thelma and Ron Hughes, a brother and his wife, Edmund and Betty Beeghly, 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildre, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Mahlon and Theodore, three sisters, Vera Beeghly, Elcista Wade, Leona Rockwell, his son Donald and daughter Norma. A Graveside Service with Full Military Honors will be held , 16, 2011, at 11:00 am, at West Hills Memorial Park. Keith & Keith is entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Walters name to the charity of your choice. |

Obituary: Obituary for Norma Beeghly Norma was born on 22, 1923 in Kirk, Colorado & went to be with the Lord on 1, 2015 at her home in Sandy, Oregon. She was the daughter of William A. and Rosa Jackson. Norma had a brother, Bill & 3 sisters, Thelma, Violet and Geraldine. She was the wife of the late Walter Beeghly. She was mother to Norma (Sammy), Thelma (Bunny) and Donald. Her grandchildren were James, Dale, Christopher, Michael, Norma, Kelly 7 Kim. Her great grandchildren were Morgan, Caitlyn, Hannah, Cody, Joshua, Hannah V., Jessica, Andrea, Cassandra, Caleb, Cora, Solomon, Tristan, & Evelyn. She had 2 great, great grandchildren & numerous nieces & nephews. Norma worked for Wades , & then went to school to become a nurse. She then worked for Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital for 23 years. She was respected, admired & loved by her co-workers & patients alike. It was a joy for her to love on all those new born babies. retirement, she traveled to visit friends & relatives in many states. In 2006, Norma & Walter moved to Eagle Creek, Oregon to be close to family. She was very active; joined a swim aerobics class & went to many of her great grandchildrens school activities. In 2012 she moved to Cascadia Village Retirement . There she participated in most of the activities. called her The Activity Queen. She enjoyed her life there and all her new friends she met. She loved playing Bingo, working puzzles, sewing, & other crafts. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred & Rosa Jackson, husband, Walter Beeghly, 2 sisters; Thelma Steele of Colorado, & Violet Stanley of Arizona, daughter Norma (Sammy) Beeghly of Caldwell, Idaho, son; Donald Beeghly of Seattle, Washington & granddaughter Norma Query of Idaho. Norma is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Thelma & Ron Hughes of Eagle Creek, Oregon, brother; William A. Jackson, Jr., of Nampa, Idaho, & Sister; Geraldine Wilkerson of Sun River, Oregon, 6 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren & nieces & nephews. Norma never had a cross word or enemy. She always had smile & a twinkle in her eye. She judged no one and was loved by everyone. She will be greatly missed by all. Obituary: Eva Mae Beede, 91, of Keizer, Oregon passed away peacefully at her assisted care home 17, 2015 in Oregon City, Oregon She was born in Speermore, Oklahoma 21, 1924 to parents Marshall and Martha Mattie Aylett. moved from Oklahoma to Missouri eventually settling in Salem, Oregon with her siblings. She graduated from Salem High School in 1941. Eva Mae dedicated her life to Jesus at the First Nazarene Church in Salem. It was there that she met her first husband, David G Pfau. were married in 1943 and soon moved to Oakland, California while David served in the US Navy. returning to Salem they raised their two children Linda and David G. Junior. Her husband, David senior along with his friend and pastor lost their lives in an airplane accident while checking the welfare of church members and surveying the damage of the 1964 flood. In 1968 she married Rev Millard Beede, who affectionately called her Dolly. enjoyed 30 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 1998. Together they were very involved in prayer groups and non-denominational Christian Camps Farthest Out (CFO) Camps. Their blended family included a total of six children. Eva Mae was a sweet spirit that loved Jesus more than anything. She always had a smile on her face to accessorize her fashionable outfits! She would make a meal at the drop of a hat for anyone who stopped by her house for a visit. She was loved by anyone and everyone who met her. She was preceded in death by husbands David G. Pfau Sr and Rev Millard Beede; brother Gerald Aylett and sister Bernita (Aylett) Hill; Stepsons John Beede and David Beede. Eva Mae is survived by her sister Ruth (Aylett) Webber, children Linda (Pfau) Warmoth, David G Pfau Jr, Mark Beede, and Sharon (Beede) Pittman along with 15 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. A public memorial service will be held on 21, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Salem Evangelical Church. Donations may be made in her memory to the Union Gospel Mission. |
