Charles was born 13, 1933 in Kingfisher, Okla., to Gardie Brown and Virginia Haralston. Charles is survived by his wife, five children and eight grandchildren. are his wife, Jackie of Oklahoma City; his children and their spouses, Wesley and Tammy of Pueblo, Colo.; Alden and Georgia of Dallas and their children, Joel and Kasey; Elizabeth and Joel of Oklahoma City and their son, Chaz; Wilbert and Lisa of Edmond and their son, Noah; and John and Mindy of Oklahoma City and their children, Breahna, Treniti, Alexis and Kylee. Services are at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill in Oklahoma City. There will be a gathering at the Brown Household immediately after the services, 4700 N.W. 19th. Refreshments and food will be served. under the direction of Chapel Hill , Oklahoma City, OK. |

Obituary: Celia May Brown, 81, of Norman passed away 8, 2015 at Grace Living . She was born 10, 1933 in Norman to Theodore Roosevelt and Opal Bell (Wilson) Toney. She married Wiley Lewis Brown in 1953 and they spent 50 years together. Celia grew up and attended school in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Paseo High School where she was on the synchronized swimming team. graduation she worked for the Federal Reserve Bank in Kansas City, Missouri for two years. moving to Norman she worked for 45years at Security National Bank which later became Arvest Bank. She did volunteer work at Norman Regional Hospital until her health prevented her from working. She had many friends from work as well as from Westside Church of Christ where she attended. Among those friends she gained a lifelong friend of Ellie Royal for over 65years. Survivors include her children: Randy Lewis Brown and wife Robin, Janice Ann Maddox and husband Dennis; grandchildren: Chandra Davis and husband Justin, Candace Dragg and husband Chris, Andrew Brown, Ben Brown; great grandchildren: Taylor Adkins, Joscelyn Harper, Greyson Dragg. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister: Sara Graves and baby brother Toney in infancy. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. 11, 2015 at Primrose Service, 1109 N. Porter Ave. Norman, OK. Visitation will continue from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on 12, 2015 at Primrose Service. Service will be at 11:00 a.m. 13, 2015 at Primrose Service. Interment will be at Norman I.O.O.F. |
