Obituary: Audean Beckham has gone home to be with the Lord. Because she was a devout Christian, she had no fear of death. She was born in Fairland, Oklahoma in 1926. During WWII she completed RN training at Methodist Hospital, and she loved nursing and caring for others. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Ernest Beckham. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her life leaves a legacy of kindness, intelligence, laughter, and love. She is survived by her son, Ernest Beckham, two grandsons and wives, Michael (and Heather) and Matthew (and Anna) and 2 great grandchildren. |

Obituary: The Rev. Jack Douglas Beckett, age 68, of West Siloam Springs, OK, went to be with His Lord, on , 27, 2015 in his home surrounded by his family. The day before he passed, Dec 26, was the birthday of his conversion at the age of 16. Bro Beckett was born on 16, 1947 in Turlock, Ca. He was the son of William Beckett and Bernice Blackwell Beckett. He was an extremely talented athlete and won many metals for football, basketball, & running track. Bro Beckett gave up his love of sports when he was converted and put all his passion into serving the Lord, and was called to be a minister of the gospel at the age of 17. He married the love of his life, Carol Ann Dooley, on 22, 1966 in Turlock, CA. spent their honeymoon preaching a Revival. Bro Beckett loved America! He was always concerned about this nation that he loved. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Bro Beckett was first ordained as a minister by the Gospel Defenders, and had been licensed with the Assemblies. He later became licensed and affiliated with the Pentecostal Fellowship International and served on their board. He has served many churches over the years as Pastor and Evangelist. He has been very influential in the molding and shaping of many lives, both young and old. He was currently serving as the pastor of Crossroads Revival . He was an amazing pastor, and had a great passion for Revival and seeing souls saved. He loved and prayed for his people daily. Bro Beckett loved Alaska. He first visited Alaska as a missionary and fell in love with the scenery and the natives. Later he was able to go on several hunting trips as well. He fulfilled his dream of killing an Alaskan Grizzly bear and was able to take 15 trips to Alaska in total. Bro Beckett lived a full an active life. He loved life to the fullest and got great enjoyment out of many things. He definitely knew how to have fun and loved to laugh. From hunting and camping in the California hills, or riding motor cycles with his buddies, to later going on dream hunts. He enjoyed every bit of it. Saying he loved to hunt is an understatement. He also was a fisherman, a taxidermist, a plasterer in the construction business, an avid Raiders fan, and a member of the NRA. He believed wholeheartedly in the 2nd Amendment. Above all, he loved God, his wife, his children, and his grandchildren. He was such a softy towards each of them. He is survived by his wife, of nearly 50 years, Carol Ann Beckett of the home; two sons, Brian Douglas Beckett of West Siloam Springs, OK and David William Beckett of Siloam Springs, AR; two daughters, Jackie Ann Swinnea of Oakdale, LA and Michelle Renee Schmid of West Siloam Springs, OK; one sister, Darice Marie Harp of Empire, CA and 10 grandchildren. Bro Beckett was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Chuck and Billy Beckett, and one sister Caroline Lamojo. A visitation will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte in Siloam Springs on , 1, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. services will be held at Crossroads Revival on, , 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at the New Hope near Chewey, OK under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte funeral home.
