Obituary: Doris M. Brown, 80, of Deersville Ridge, Cadiz, died , 19, 2015 at Hospice House in New Philadelphia. She was born 6, 1935, a daughter of the late Thomas Tony Millinger and Ruth Abel Palmer. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Hanover United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Womens Club. She was a retired District Program Administrator from the Harrison Soil and Water Conservation District in Cadiz, where she was inducted into its Hall of Fame. She enjoyed square dancing and listening to music at Hugos in Scio and the Cadiz Senior and all things social. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Brown in 1979; and siblings, Betty Thompson, Eileen Fleck Zoll, Melvin Pete Lightner and John Millinger. Surviving are three daughters, Debra Norris (James Siddall) of Wellington, OH, Susan Grant (David Gilmore) of Blacklick, OH, and Lori Brown-Ruth (Tom) of Uhrichsville, OH; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren (and one on the way); a brother, Ronald Millinger (Betty) of Maxie, VA; and a special friend and companion, Joe Taggart and his four daughters, Janet (Craig) Brokaw, Joyce (Tim) Antol, Jody (T.J.) Pizzino, and Jo Ellen (Jerry) Moore and their families. Friends may call , 22, 4-7 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland , Cadiz, where funeral services will be held , 23 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Henry Mooney officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio. Obituary: Doris Leona Brown, 99, of Enon, Ohio passed away 2, 2015 in Dayton. She was born 27, 1915 in Hillsboro, Ohio, the daughter of Charles Edwin Kier and Mary Bell Lance Kier. All sixteen of her great-great-grandparents were living in an area known as the "Virginia Donation" in southwestern Ohio before or during the time Ohio became a state.She married Robert "Bob" Samuel Brown in 1933 shortly after graduation from Hillsboro High School. were married sixty-nine years. In 1955 they moved from Hillsboro to Enon, Ohio where she continued the traditional role of mother and homemaker while Bob embarked on his new career of realtor.In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband in 2002, two brothers, Floyd and Edwin; a daughter, Carol Sue Decker; and a grandson, Robert Sanchez Brown. She is survived by a sister, Lora May Wilson; a son Robert Lee Brown; a grandson Kevin, and two great-grandchildren, Robert and Valerie.Her passing closes a book of memories stretching from buggies and gaslights to space walks and lasers. She was loved and will be greatly missed. Friends may call on 8, 2015 from 5PM - 7PM at Burcham Jennings , 119 E. Obituary: Donna Jean Brown, age 59, of Lima, passed away at her residence on 11th at 11:56 p.m., surrounded by her family. She was born Feb. 8, 1956, in Lima, to William and Bonita (Smith) Voress who preceded her in death. On Nov. 20, 1976, she married Robert L. Brown who survives. Donna loved her daughters Shanna Armentrout of Lima, Melissa (Timothy) Barlow of Springfield, Carrie (Tony Salvatore) Peters of Columbus, Heather (Eric) Stevenson of Belle Glade, FL and Sara (Matt) Elsass of Wapakoneta with a love only a mother can know. Donna leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Donna had 9 siblings: Robert (Louise) Voress, Nancy (Kenny) Reis, Greg (Sue) Rhinock, Rebecca (Steve) Dunahay, Timothy (Billie) Voress and Adam (Tina) Rayl all of Lima, Rick Pugsley, Sue Piper, and Lynn (Nolan) Porter. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William Voress, Jr. and Kenny Voress. Donna was the manager for Hampton Greene Apartments. She also owned her own cake business "Cakes by Donna" and was "The Avon Lady". She was a servant of the Lord, teaching children's church and was involved in the AWANA club for kids at Grace Baptist Church for many years. Visitation for Donna will be on 15th from 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. at Siferd-Orians . Her funeral service will begin at 10 am on 16th with Pastor Matthew Oliver officiating. Entombment will follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church. The family would appreciate flowers that can be planted in remembrance of Donna.
