Obituary: Gloria Daun Backus, age 84 of Canfield, Ohio, died on , 8, 2015 at 5:45 PM at Salem Regional Medical . She was born on 23, 1931 in Fairport, New York, the daughter of the late Clyde and Dorothy Donovan Kelsey. Daun was a homemaker and a member of the Greenford Christian Church. She loved horses and dogs. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Anne Kelsey of Chandler, AZ; her nephews and niece, Jon (Gail) Kelsey of Phoenix, AZ, David (Dianne) Kelsey of Phoenix, AZ, and Kathleen (Donald) Bowen of Rochester, NY; several great nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Other than her parents, Daun was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice John Backus, and her brother, Earl Donovan Kelsey. Memorial services will be held at the Greenford Christian Church, 11767 Lisbon Road, Greenford, Ohio 44422 at 6:00 PM, , 14, 2015. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ones favorite animal charity. have been entrusted to the care of the Lane Family s-Austintown Chapel. |
