These words of scripture speak volumes about Patricia Jean Lewis Bynum, age 73 of Alexis who went home to be with her Lord and Savior on , 27, 2016 at her residence. Jean was well known in her community and throughout the region for her involvement with Alexis Baptist Church, her 35 year career in Tupperware and most recently with her friends at Curves. Jean loved her children and grandchildren greatly. Jean was the bride of the late Jerry Bynum for over 43 years. She is also preceded in death by one son, Rodney Bynum along with her father; James Franklin Lewis, Sr. Those left to cherish Jeans memories are her mother Sarah Lineberger Lewis of Stanley; four sons and their wives and children: Mike and Debbie with Caitlyn, Caleb and Catherine of Gastonia, Doug and Carlette with Kendall of Mount Holly, Tracy and Beth with Clayton and Thomas of Huntersville, Alex and Tisha with Madison, Alexis and Kerrigan of Granite Falls; two sisters and brother in law: Anne and Larry Bishop of Clemmons and Wanda Elliott of Belmont; one brother and sister in law: James Bud and Carolyn Lewis of Bainbridge, GA. Celebration of Jeans Life will be held at 2:00 PM , 30, 2016 at Alexis Baptist Church, in Alexis, North Carolina. Reverend Sandy Marks and Reverend Barry Devine will preside. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM prior to the service. Graveside and committal service will follow in the Alexis Baptist Church .
