Obituary: Charles Roland Butler, Sr. 68, of Trinity, NC passed away , 12, 2014. Born in Alabama to Clarence and Mary Butler. He did much traveling with his career, but lived most of his life in Trinity, NC. Charles was a USMC Vietnam Veteran. He enjoyed gardening, Nascar, westerns and time shared with grandchildren. He is survived by Carolyn Bulter, wife of 44 years. Their three children, Charles Butler, Jr. and wife Vicki of Trinity, William Butler and wife Misty of High Point, Shannon Flynn and husband David of Greenville, NC. His sisters, Nadine Drake and husband Ronnie of Trinity, and Mavies Moore of Kinston, three brothers, Clarence Butler, Jr. of Trinity, Bill Butler of Alabama and Robert Butler and wife Carol of Michigan. Charles leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends , 30, 2014 from 5-7pm with a Celebration of Life 7pm at Sechrest Service, 1301 E. Lexington Ave. High Point, NC 27262. Obituary: Carolynne Martin Butler 84, of Cary, N.C., died of complications due to Alzheimers on 12-19-2013. She is survived by her husband of 66 years Frank E. Butler. were married on 12-19-1947. Her husband loved her dearly for all of those years. Carolynne is also survived by three of her four children, Nancy Cornwell of Cary, Ed and Faith Butler of Apex, and Cathy Nelson of Raleigh. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is joined in Heaven by her daughter Marta Kerr and Martas husband Charlie (previously deceased). Carolynne, born in Columbia, S.C. to Myrtle and Rembert Martin, graduated from USC and was an elementary school teacher for twenty years and retired from Wake Co. public schools. She enjoyed training her Sheltie dogs. She enjoyed Golf and claimed three holes in one and a tournament win. She enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband and family. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren and spent a lot of time following them through their sports, camping with them and watching them grow up. Obituary: Dr. Bobbie Joe Butler, 81,of Charlotte, passed away on , 21, 2014, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Visitation is on , 1, from 9AM until 11AM, at McEwen Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd., Charlotte, N.C. The burial will immediately follow at Noon at Evergreen . Born in Gastonia, Dr. Butler was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Butler's veterinary practice, Butler Animal Hospitals, served the pet owners of the Charlotte area for thirty years, before his retirement in 1992. Dr. Butler was a member of West Gate Lodge #738, along with the American and North Carolina Veterinary Medical Associations, and the South Carolina Association of Veterinarians. Dr. Butler was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth. He is survived by his son R. J. Butler, of Elkhart, Indiana, and R. J.'s wife, Sellers, along with brothers Bill Butler, James Butler, and sister Peggy Butler. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Charlotte Region or to the Humane Society of Charlotte. |
