Obituary: Christopher Lee Bryson, III, 18, of Dallas, passed away on 15, 2014. He was born in Gastonia and is the son of Dodie Williamson Bryson and Christopher Lee Bryson, Jr. Christopher was a graduate of South Point High School Class of 2014. He loved to fish and loved basketball. He was employed at Food Lion in Mt. Holly. He attended Gaston and was pursuing a career in Law Enforcement. Christopher is survived by his mother, Dodie Williamson Bryson and fiancé, Tony Layel of Dallas, father, Christopher Lee Bryson, Jr. of Cramerton; two sisters, Jade Bryson and Savannah Bryson of Cramerton; two step-brothers, Carson Bennett and Will Bennett of Belmont; Maternal grandparents, Ronnie Williamson of Belmont, Darlene Childers of Alexis; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Carothers , Gastonia with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 4:00 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of Carothers with Dr. Danny Dwyer officiating. Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park. Christopher was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Christopher Lee Bryson, Sr. and Edith Watson Hicks.
