Obituary: Mrs. Thongkham Bounphasaysol , age 67, passed away at her home on 26, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Laos she was the daughter to the late Eah Bounphasaysol and Si Sombath and was the youngest of three sisters. Mrs. Thongkham had a passion for life. One of the things she enjoyed most was being in her garden planting beautiful flowers. She loved helping people in any way that she could and she always made sure that she greeted them with a smile. She is survived by her husband, Peune Bounphasaysol;five children and nine grandchildren. She was predeceased by two children. Thongkhams kindness and love will be missed by all who knew her. Obituary: Mrs. Ruth Small Bounous, 93, of Valdese, died 2, 2015 at Pines , after a period of declining health. Mrs. Bounous was born 21, 1921 in Burke , a daughter of the late James and Mary Jo Garrison Small. She was a member of the Waldensian Presbyterian Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 234 and retired with many years of service from Valdese Weavers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Harvey Jones and her second husband Henry Bounous, an infant daughter and a brother. Surviving are two sons, Gary Jones and wife Gwen, Jimmy Bounous and wife Debbie all of Valdese and a daughter, Connie Isaacs of Charlotte. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three sisters, and two brothers. Services for Ruth Small Bounous will be held at 3:00 P.M. 4, 2015 in the Waldensian Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Kevin Fredrick officiating. Interment will follow in the Waldensian Presbyterian Church . The family will receive friends from 2 until 3:00 P.M. at the Waldensian Presbyterian Church. Memorials may be made to Burke Hospice and Palliative , 1721 Enon Rd., Valdese, NC 28690. An online guestbook and obituary is available at www.heritagefuneralservices.com. Heritage Service and Crematory is assisting the Bounous family. |
