Obituary: Joyce Riddle Bishop, 83, of Charlotte passed away 24, 2011 surrounded by her family. She was born in Charlotte to Ellis and Rose Riddle on 15, 1927. Joyce loved the years she volunteered at CMC Pineville and enjoyed nature, especially watching birds and deer outside her home. But most of all, Joyce loved and cherished her family and dedicated her life to them and her extended family Joyce is preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Wylie T. Bishop, daughter, Brenda Bishop and daughter-in-law, Patricia Bishop. She will be dearly missed by her children; Ted (Patricia) Bishop of Midland, Sandra (Bruce) Johnson of Sherrills Ford, Cathy (Rick) Perry of Boca Raton, FL and Michael Bishop of Charlotte; grandchildren, Angie and Jessica Perry, Lisa and Kristen Bishop and Stacey Block; 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on , 27, 2011 from 6 - 8 pm at McEwen Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210. Obituary: Joshua Gordon Bishop, born 28, 1981 in Dayton, Ohio, passed away 5, 2016 at 11 am, 35 years old. Josh is survived by his wife, Ally;.mom and dad, Carol and Dean Bishop; five siblings; Jodi Adams, Elizabeth Moore, Jennifer Williams; Jason Seibert and Brian Seibert; mother in law and father in law - Robin and Bob Breidinger plus one brother in law - Barry Bredinger. Josh and Ally really loved each other very much and were totally committed to each other. Josh graduated from Butler High School in Matthews, NC and played baseball for school. Joshua loved baseball, suburbans, and living a fast life. His black rap, suburban with sub woofers was a hit at high school. Josh was a certified ASE Mechanic and worked closely with Johnny Little for the City of Charlotte Garage. He could listen to an engine and start telling you what was wrong with it and usually was right on the mark. He was able to really analyze mechanic issues and thing of awesome ways to fix the situation. Josh was a man that could read online about a topic and then apply for the certification and could pass the certification. He read a lot on the Internet and learned how to do so much and seemed to just fall in place for him so easy. Josh worked for several years climbing and cutting down trees. Then he worked as a construction manager mainly refurbishing homes or roofing the homes. Josh was a certified specialist in roofing and passed all the tests to be a certified contractor. He was so strong and always going to make things happen - his energy level should be in all of us. Josh loved children, his own child Savannah and watching life happen. Josh loved the outdoors plus loved fishing and playing in the woods. Josh bragged about our 26 hour fishing trip to the outer banks. It was so much fun. Josh was so good hearted - He would do so much for so many people. He was your best friend and always there. Josh was really got caught up in survival in this world we all live in today. Josh is a tribute to the what and why we all need to get back to families and assuring the Lord is in our schools, government, and all of our lives. Josh was loved so much by his family - everyone was always concerned and caring. Josh loved any ballgame and we enjoyed getting to at least one professional game of all the sports. Josh acted as if he did not enjoy holidays but he did so much. He was always wanting to do a second turkey deep fried or have a ham the night before a holiday to get started. Josh loved chocolate chip cookies - was the first made at Christmas and Josh allotted how many others got. There was rarely any of this kind for cookie boxes. He was not afraid to try anything and as he grew older, I saw this great man taking on stuff he had never before but he had no worries about being successful.He brought so much to life for so many people. Josh will be missed as a roofer, mechanic, father, husband, brother, fisherman, baseball player, and a front yard enjoy a pass the ball type person. Josh's life was cut short - 35 years old. We all question why his life was cut short. Josh is a lesson for the rest of us to live a life of what makes you happy with your family and the Lord. Josh will be missed by his wife, mom and dad and family. THIS MAN WAS LOVED AND WAS TRULY OUR BEST FRIEND !!! PLEASE JOIN US IN KNOWING WHERE JOSH IS WITH THE LORD IN HEAVEN AND THAT HIS WORRIES AND STRUGGLES ARE OVER FOR TODAY. THANK YOU ! His Mom and Dad really loved this man !
