Obituary: Dallas - Margaret A. Beavers, 76, passed away 18, 2014 at CMC Lincoln. A native of Bristol, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late James and Frances Lilly and wife of the late Frank Albert Beavers. Margaret was a member of Dallas Church of God. She is survived by her son, Frank Beavers Jr. and companion Jade Muller; daughters, Brenda Wilkes and husband Robert, Debbie Burton and husband Billy; sisters, Patricia Coffey and husband Collin, Edith Turi; brother, Edmund Lilly and wife Betty; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2pm in the Colonial Chapel of Carothers with Pastor Danny Shortridge officiating. Burial will be at Armstrong . The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Obituary: YADKINVILLE - Dr. Franklin C. Beavers, 90, passed away peacefully on 8, 2010, at his residence. He was born on 10, 1919, in Wake , NC, to George and Daisy Beavers. Dr. Beavers graduated from Wake Forest University and Northwestern University Dental School. He practiced dentistry for forty years, mostly in the Old Town area of Winston-Salem. Dr. Beavers honorably served our nation as a Lt. Commander in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He enjoyed farming, raising cattle, splitting his own firewood and watching the Atlanta Braves. Dr. Beavers was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Margery S. Beavers; three sisters, Jane Banks, Lydia Beavers and Alice Beavers; and four brothers, James Beavers, Charles Beavers, George Beavers and David Beavers. He is survived by six children, Christine "Chris" (Vaughn) Hanner, Linda Beavers, Gregg (Shirley Colson) Beavers, Scott (Beverly) Beavers, Yvonne (Richard) Martinez and Kirk (Lisa) Beavers; nine grandchildren, Stuart Beavers, Joshua Beavers, Ryan Beavers, Page Beavers, Eric Beavers, Jacob Beavers, Rachel Martinez, Wren Beavers and Mikayla Martinez. A Celebration of Life Service for Dr. Beavers will be held at 2:00 p.m. on , 12, at Voglers Reynolda Road Chapel. Interment will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on , 11, at the chapel. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staffs of Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative and New Horizons for the kindness they showed Dr. Beavers while he was in their care.
