Obituary: Doris McDaniel Barley, 83, died peacefully at home on , 17, 2015. Dot was born 1, 1932 to the late Neil and Anne McDaniel. She graduated from Rankin High School in 1950. Mama was the beat of our hearts. Although our lives will be empty without her presence, our hearts will always be filled with love for her. She was such a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to so many people. Dot was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Euliss A. Barley; one sister; and six brothers. Dot is survived by her three children, Delilah Dee Barley of Brown Summit, Jamie Barley of Reidsville, and Joey Barley of Burlington; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. We say goodbye mama, we will love and miss you forever. services will be held on , 22, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm St. Chapel, with Pastor Marty Carty officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm the night before the service on , 21, 2015 also at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm St. Chapel.
