Obituary: Ruby Lee Callicutt Baldwin 93, passed away peacefully, , 13, 2016, at St Joseph of the Pines. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, , 15, 2016 at Pine Rest , with the Reverend Mamie Alley and Reverend Al Trotter officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at Tabernacle United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Ruby was born in Greensboro, NC on 28, 1922 to the late John Currie and Jane Etta (Jeanette) McNeill Callicutt. She graduated from Elise High School in 1941 and worked at Eastern Aircraft in Baltimore Maryland, during World War II. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lacy Everette Baldwin; son: Bruce Garrett Baldwin; sister: Swannie Barringer; brothers: Rudolph Callicutt and James Callicutt. Surviving are sons: David Baldwin; Clifton Baldwin and wife Connie; 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; sisters: Opal Kennedy and Maxie Morrison. Obituary: ROY LEE BALDWIN OLIN- Roy L. ("Cotton") Baldwin, 65, went home to be with the Lord on 3, 2016. Born 5, 1951 in Ashe , North Carolina he was the son of the late Thomas and Zola Howell Baldwin. Roy worked for the past 30 years as a dedicated driver for Tyson Foods. Along with being a loving husband and father, he was a dedicated provider for his family. He cherished being "Papaw" to his six grandsons. He also loved serving the Lord first and foremost and helping anyone in need. He served as a Deacon and school teacher while at Fairview Baptist Church. He loved playing softball, coaching his sons' baseball teams and made many life-time friends. Roy was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing, especially with his grandsons and special friend Gary Mitchell. Roy proudly served in the US Army, having been stationed in Seoul, South Korea from 1971 - 1972. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Elizabeth Ann; brother, Kenneth Baldwin and wife Eva; nephew, Clay Baldwin; niece, Crystal Baldwin and brother-in-law, Eugene Gaither. Left to cherish his memory is the love of his life, Patricia Hepler Baldwin, whom he married on 9, 1972. He is also survived by his sons, Steven (Heather) Baldwin, Richard (Stacy) Baldwin and Matthew (Amanda) Baldwin; grandchildren, Alec, Ryan, Luke, Hunter, Kole and Bryson Baldwin; brothers, Darrell (Lois) and Buddy (Pat) Baldwin; sister, Peggy Gaither and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins, all of whom were very dear to him. A Celebration of Roy's life will be held , 6, at 3:30 P.M. at Fairview Baptist Church with Pastors Scott Eanes, Paul Hill and Jesse Stroud officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:30 P.M. at the church prior to the celebration. Pallbearers will be Dean Hepler, Cale Hepler, Gary Mitchell, Ronnie Williams, Alec Baldwin and Brett Baldwin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenny Smith, Mike Carson and the Jack Setzer school class. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church, 349 Turnersburg Hwy Statesville, North Carolina 28625 or Hospice of Iredell , 2341 Simonton Road, Statesville, North Carolina 28677.
