Obituary: Frances Hoyer Brew, 92, died at the Pleasant View on 28, 2016. She was born on 7, 1923, to Freeman and Mary Whitman Hoyer of Middleport, N.Y., and graduated from Middleport High School in 1941 and Rochester Business Institute in 1943. In 1951, with the college graduation of her husband, she achieved a degree then known as the PHT or Putting Husband Through while she worked as a secretary in the Cleveland area to support them both. Her energy always was selflessly focused on helping her family find their footholds in life, starting with her late husband, Roderick Alan Brew, to whom she was married for 45 years before his death in 1989, and continuing with the children she leaves and the daughters-in-law made to feel welcome as family: son Roderick A. Brew, Jr., of Concord, Margaret Brew of Hancock, son Robert H. Brew and Merilee Havel-Brew of Acton, Mass., daughter Mary J. Brew of Miami Beach, Fla., and also grandchildren David, Jonathan and Elizabeth Brew of Acton, sister Anne Hoyer of Williamsville, N.Y., brother Richard Hoyer of Longport, N.J., and nieces and nephews. Frances was a 50-year communicant of St. Johns Church in 2007, and a 20-year retiree of N.H. Blue Cross and Blue Shield, where she made many friends, as she did throughout her years of community service as a member of the Dimond Hill Club, the Hopkinton Womens Club, and the Junior Service League of Concord. Contributions to the SPCA in lieu of flowers are encouraged as there will be no visiting hours. Obituary: Maurice Moe R. Breton, 87, of Hooksett, NH died 8, 2012 at Villa Crest after a period of declining health. He was born in Manchester, NH on 5, 1925 and was the son of Leonello and Lena (Hashie) Breton and had resided in Hooksett for most of his life. He was a graduate of St. Anthony High School and attended St. Anselm . He was WWII Navy Veteran who served in North Africa. Moe had a passion for music. He was a self-taught musician who wrote his own music. Moe Bretons Big Band played at various venues including Baboosic Lake, the Officers and NCO Club at Grenier Field (Now Manchester/ Boston Airport) and many locales through out the area. He left music for many years only to return in the 80s playing at the Chateau Restaurant until 2004. He was best known for his legendary musical ability with many bands spanning over 60 years. Family members include a son, Jacques Breton and his wife Deborah of Somersworth, NH, a grandson, Joel Breton and his wife Emily and great-granddaughter, Jaelynn of Hooksett, NH and granddaughter Jill Breton of New Market, NH; a second son Roland Breton and his wife Debbie of Fort Lauderdale Fl; granddaughter, Allie Breton and grandson R.J. Breton of fort Lauderdale Fl; and a brother, Richard Breton of Laconia NH. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Mae Breton in 2005 and by a brother, Leon Breton in 2012. Obituary: LT. COL. ROLAND H. BRETON Lt. Col. Roland H. Breton, 84, of Hooksett died 20, 2001 in his residence after a long illness. Born in Manchester on 10, 1917, he was the son of Leo J. and Philomene (Tremblay) Breton. He lived most of his life in Manchester and Hooksett. He was a graduate of St. Joseph High School, Manchester. During World War II he served in the U.S. Army and was involved with military intelligence. He attended many military schools. He later served in the Air National Guard as a squadron commander. Lt. Col. Breton worked as a building contractor for many years. He owned Roland H. Breton Construction in Manchester. He was the builder and original owner of Northwood in Manchester. He was a former president of the Lions Club and the National Guard Association, and was a former commander of the American Legion Post 79. He was one of the founders of the New Hampshire Builders Association of Manchester and was a member of the New Hampshire Appraiser Association. He was also a member of the Air Reserve Association and the American Association of Retired Persons. The family includes his wife of 59 years, Agnes G. (Tremblay) Breton of Hooksett; two daughters, Helen A. Manseau and Constance B. Richards both of Bedford; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. There were no calling hours. A memorial mass of Christian burial was celebrated 3, 2001 in St. Anselm Abbey Church on the campus of St. Anselm , Manchester. A committal service followed in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. Burial of cremated remains was in Mt. Calvary . He received his early education locally and was a graduate of St. Anthony High School. He was a member of the Class of 1952 from St. Anslem . In 1952 he took over ownership of the family business Hashie Movers, that later became affiliated with American Red Ball Movers. Leon retired in 1965. His passion was sailing. Whether it was offshore, or in the Caribbean it was the place that he was the happiest. He was a member of the Massabesic Yacht club, and served as its Commodore for some time. He was a two term selectman from Ward 7 in Manchester. Leon was a member of the Manchester Jaycees and was instrumental in the reviving of the Manchester Winter Carnival. The family wishes all to pray for Leon as well as all sailors everywhere. A U.S. Navy veteran, Cam proudly served in the US Navy seeing action in both WWII and Korea. his discharge from the military Camil was employed 46 years by the federal government, retiring as District Office Manager of the Social Security Administration of Manchester. In his life, Camil volunteered as an usher at the Palace Theater and his parish church. His family was his pride and his joy, especially his grandchildren and his great grandchildren. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years, Edwina E. (Venne) Breton in 2006. Family members include his daughter Joanne P. Jeannette and husband David of Manchester; his son Ronald A. Breton of Manchester; four grandchildren, Matthew Goldberg of Barrington, Sarah Stavropoulos and husband Nick of Bedford, Beau and Corinne Breton of Manchester; four great grandchildren, Miles and Louis Goldberg of Barrington and Olivia and Anna Stavropoulos of Manchester and dear friend Polly Veros. He was also predeceased by his sister Denise Bilodeau. Committal prayers were held on , May 31, 2014 in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary , 474 Goffstown Rd. Urn burial followed in the family lot. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge St., Manchester, NH 03104. |

Obituary: Andre Nelson Breton, 87, of Manchester died May 24, 2015, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a period of declining health. Born in Biddeford, ME on 24, 1928, he was the son of Louis J. and Bertha (Lemieux) Breton. Prior to retirement, he had been employed as a laborer with Prevue Products for many years. He had also worked at the Sheraton Wayfarer Inn in Bedford for a few years. Devoted to his faith, Andre was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Parish, an usher for Masses, and a member of the Sacred Heart League. Family members include his sister, Doris Therrien and her husband Bertrand, both of Manchester; many nephews, nieces and cousins; great nephews and nieces; great-great nephews and nieces. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on , May 29, 2015 in Sacred Heart Church. Burial followed in St. in , Manchester. Donations may be made in his memory to Sacred Heart Parish, 265 S.
