Obituary: Richard D. Dick Bournival, 79, of Nashua, NH, died May 28, 2008 at Lowell General Hospital after a brief illness. He was born 30, 1929 and was the oldest of 10 children of Ferdinand and Marie A. (Leveille) Bournival. He grew up in Manchester, NH and had lived in the Lowell, MA area for many years. He had been a resident of Nashua, NH the past 20 years. He and his wife had wintered in Palm Beach Gardens, FL for many years. At the age of 17 he became the youngest licensed insurance agent for the Combined Insurance of America. At 21, he married and moved to Lowell, MA where he started working in the back shop of a local Chrysler-Plymouth dealership. In 1962, Chrysler offered him the dealership and he later established others in Portsmouth, NH and a, ME. He retired in 1996. He was a former president of the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce, served as Co-Chairman of the New England Chrysler Plymouth Dealers Jimmy Fund, was Divisional Chairman of the Merrimack Valley United Way, and was Chairman of the National Chrysler Dealers Council. He served on the Board of Directors of Union National Bank, Pelham Bank and Trust, and Baybank Middlesex. Mr. Bournival had served as President of the Merrimack Regional Theatre. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Lowell Plan, which was instrumental in the City of Lowell become a National Historic Park, and the Board of Directors of St. Johns Hospital in Lowell, MA Time Magazine honored him for his outstanding performance as an auto dealer and valued citizen of his community. An avid golfer he was a 40-year member of Vespar Country Club in Tyngsboro, MA. He also was a member of Ballen Isles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens. He participated in numerous golf tournaments including the Bob Hope Desert Classic. He leaves his wife of 58 years, Florence M. (Buckley) Bournival of Nashua, NH; four children, Richard D. Bournival and his wife, Alissa, of Rye, NH, Susan M. Bournival and her husband, Lawrence Buote, of No. Andover, MA, Andrea B. Namay and her husband, Dr. Richard, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and David P. Bournival and his wife, Eileen, of Hampstead, NH; 5 grandchildren; a brother, Robert Bournival of Rochester, NH; six sisters, Pauline Atkinson of Northport, L.I., NY, Jacqueline McClellan of Hooksett, NH, Jeannette Magarian of Manchester, NH, Marguerite White of Birmingham, Alabama, Suzanne Matson of Concord, NH, and Charlotte Pasquale of Springfield, MA; many nieces and nephews. Obituary: Gertrude A. Bournival, 73, of Manchester, died 9, 2012 at Hanover Hill care following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Manchester, on 21, 1939 and was the daughter of Jack and Rose (Loranger) Britton. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester. Gertrude graduated from St. Patrick grammar school and St. Joseph High School. She worked as a receptionist for the Raytheon for over 20 years and after her retirement she worked as a receptionist for Villa Crest and Retirement for 8 years. She was a parishioner of St. Pius X Church and a member and past president of the Jutras Post Womens Auxiliary for 26 years and also a member of the V.F.W. Post 8214 Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and was an avid Red Sox Fan. She loved bowling and doing her crossword puzzles. She was born in Bellingham, MA on 13, 1907, the daughter of Alfred and Marie (Ladouceur) Gaudette. She was educated in the local school system having attended St. George Grammar School and Manchester High School Central. She was formerly the secretary and treasurer of the Champlaine Snowshoe Club and was also a member of Montcalm Court 501. She had been recording secretary for the Catholic Order of Foresters and in 1975 was the first woman awarded Outstanding Forester of the Year in the New England Region. She was a long-time communicant of St. Anthony Church. She was pre-deceased by her husband Ulderic Bournival in 1975. She was also pre-deceased by two sisters, Cecile Mooney and Alma Venuti, her brother, Alfred Gaudette, and a granddaughter, Diane Jutras. Members of her family include 4 sons, Eugene A. Bournival, Roger L. Bournival, and Donald O. Bournival, all of Manchestser, and Robert A. He was born in Stanhope, PQ on 12, 1935, the son of Joseph and Roseanna (Gosselin) Bourgoin. He attended technical school in Haverhill, MA and earned his Associates Degree from Fitchburg State University. graduation, he served in the US Navy prior to his honorable discharge in 1963. Larry had worked as a computer technician for the Raytheon in Andover, MA for 38 years. He enjoyed round dancing, gardening, and will be remembered as a man who could fix anything. Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his family and will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many. Family members include his loving wife of 50 years, Janet (Courchesne) Bourgoin of Goffstown; his children, Shawna Harrington, her husband Brian and their 11 children of Bedford; Kenneth Bourgoin, his wife Susan and their 2 children of Florida; John Bourgoin, his wife Carrie and their 3 children of Hooksett, Daniel Bourgoin, his wife Elli and their 5 children of VA; three brothers and one sister; many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Born in Manchester, NH on 7, 1925, she was the daughter of the late William and Julia (Moody) Bothwick. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Rudolph O. Rudy Bourget in 2008 and by her three brothers, William E., Harold M., and Walter J. Bothwick. Mary was educated in the Manchester school system and attended Central High School. Prior to retirement, Mary had been employed as a shoe factory worker in Manchester and later as a production worker at Disogrin Industries in Manchester. moving to Florida in 1981, Mary went back to school and earned her CNA degree. She later worked for many years as a certified nursing assistant in Sebastian, FL. During her life she enjoyed water skiing, shopping, riding her exercise bike, gardening, feeding her birds and squirrels as well as traveling. She also loved taking care of her rescued pets. She leaves behind her son Rudolph D. Bourget and his wife Pauline of Weare; three grandsons, Stephen and Paul Bourget of Weare and Marc Bourget of Lee, NH; many nephews and nieces. A memorial service was celebrated on , 28, 2015 in the chapel at Lambert & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St, Manchester. Marys ashes will have their final resting place in Florida, alongside those of her late husband. Family members include his wife of 34 years Marjorie (Berry) Bourget; a daughter, Janice Allen and her husband, Keith; his grandson, David Allen; a son, Samuel Bourget and their family dog, of Manchester; his mother, Dorothy (Murphy) Bourget of Contoocook; a sister, Darlene Isabelle and her husband, Bruce, of Contoocook; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great aunts, great uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Gerald Bourget of Manchester. He was also predeceased by his dog, Molly and his cat, Meme. A funeral service was held on , 11, 2013 at St. Pauls United Methodist Church, 335 Smyth Rd., Manchester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Davids memory to Bedford Animal Rescue League, 545 Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110. Lambert & Crematory, Manchester assisted the family with arrangements. |

Obituary: Roland A. Bourgeois, 75, of Candia died 31, 2002 at Elliot Hospital, Manchester after a long illness. Born in Manchester on 3, 1927, he was the son of Donat and Yvonne (Dumont) Bourgeois. He lived in Manchester many years before moving to Candia 22 years ago. He had been wintering in Ft. Myers, FL for many years. During World War II he served in the U.S. Navy. In his younger years he worked as a barber at Rolands Barbershop which was owned by his father. He later worked at Gerrys Motor Sales and then was owner and operator of Rolands Manufactured s. He currently owned Country Lane Manor mobile home park in Candia. Mr. Bourgeois enjoyed antique cars. The family includes his wife of 46 years, Julie (Steckewicz) Bourgeois of Candia; five children, Susan J. Dusaitis of Manchester, Nancy L. Bourgeois of Hooksett, Richard R. Bourgeois of Texas, Cathy A. Everitt of Merrimack and Carol B. Conrad of Manchester; nine grandchildren; his mother of Manchester; a brother, Maurice L. Bourgeois of Bedford; a sister, Lorraine Tremblay of N. Reading, MA, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 4, 2002 in St. Catherine Church, corner of Webster and Hemlock streets, Manchester. Burial was in Mt. Calvary , 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
