Obituary: Graveside services for Mr. Milo Kidwell Beesley Jr. will be held at 11 am at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Rev. James Ruffin will be officiating. Special music will be provided by Judith Beesley. Stephens is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Beesley, 84, of Meridian, passed away . He was retired District Manager for Independent Life and Accident Insurance Co. Mr. Beesley will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He served his country in the U.S. Navy, a former Golden Gloves boxer and yoyo and paddleboard world champion for several years, serving as an exhibitor for the Duncan YoYo Co. Survivors are his children Michael E. Beesley Sr. and wife Susan, Angela Beesley Davis and husband Ken; grandchildren Michael Beesley Jr and wife Judith, Katy Beesley Cottles and husband James, Hunter Beesley and wife Chelsy, Brittany Davis Winstead and husband Daniel and Kayla Mills Davis. He is also survived by great grandchildren Jack Michael Beesley, Dawson Lane Beesley, Jack Barrera Winstead, Miller Scott Morgan; sister Barbara Beesley Keetch and husband Farrar along with numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Beers was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp, and retired from Eaton Corporation after more than 25 years as a manufacturing engineer.
