Obituary: Louise died 14, 2015 at Magnolia Regional . Louise was born 28, 1926 in Alcorn Co. to the late J.W. and Dena Burcham Woodruff. She was a lifelong resident of Alcorn . In her early age she was a factory worker, during WWII and following the war. She retired from the Alcorn Co. Schools as a Teacher Assistant helping with handicap children. Following the death of her husband she served one year as Election Commissioner. She was a long time member of Love Joy Baptist Church. Louise loved to visit family, knitting, cooking, gardening, canning, she was a Sweetheart to All. Louise loved God, Church and her Family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Thurston Bain, parents, brothers r Ray and Roscoe Woodruff, sister Leon Emerson, Lillian Childers, Faye Brown and a daughter-in-law Peggy Bain. She is survived by her sons Roger Bain of Corinth, MS. Jimmy (Tracy) Bain, Tommy (Patricia) Bain all of Burnsville, MS. daughter Deanna (Wayne) Grisham of Corinth, MS. brothers R.C. Jack Woodruff, Elder Cecil Woodruff, sisters Dorothy Oakley, Jean Blasingame, grandchildren Charlette (Rick) Foster, Christy (Jr.) McKee, Dale (Debra) Bain, Daphne (Terry) Coln, Dena Bain, Ben (Roslyn) Grisham, Chris (Angie) Grisham, Hope Bain, Nick (Leslie) Bain, Jerrod Johnson, Jorja Butler, Jayme Johnson, great 16 grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Obituary: Jo was born a Jo Strachan on 6, 1943. She passed away peacefully on 19, 2015 at the age of 71. She was born in Junction City, AR but was raised throughout her teenage years by her beloved Uncle Bunk and Aunt Opal Green in Big Sandy, TX. Jos priorities in life were God, Family and Elvis. Sometimes we wondered about the order of the last two. Ray Price might have even bumped us down to number four in the order. She met her husband, Bill Bain, while working in a bank in Dallas, TX. were married just a couple of months later on 22, 1962. had 52 very special and wonderful years together. were always ONE, it wasn Bill or Jo, always just Bill AND Jo. were never apart. If you got one, you got both. were a perfectly matched, inseparable couple. In the far away future, Bill can wait to be with Jo again in Heaven and once again be one. Jo and Bill have two sweet daughters, Debra DAnn Huguley and Stephanie Michelle Wright. She proudly claimed seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was so happy that she was able to visit with all of them over this past Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Jo was such a thoughtful and caring person, she met and made many friends through her activities. Through the years, her favorite activities included bowling, dominos, going to the lake and more recently visiting Florida and Branson MO to see the country and western shows. Jo was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Josephine Strachan, Brothers Sam, John, Dwight and Buddy as well as her sister Betty Lou. Jos is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bill Bain, daughters DAnn (Bubba) and Stephanie (Mike), grandchildren, Justin, Tyler, Charlie, Kayla, Courtney, Amanda and Zachary. She also leaves behind her brother Sydney Jim Strachan and a sister Delia Strachan Wilson. There will be gathering of friends and family to celebrate Jos Life at Brantley in Olive Branch, MS. on , 23, 2015 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm. We invite everyone who can attend to come and help us celebrate her life. Jo did not want a sad or somber service, she wanted us to crank up the Elvis music, enjoy each other, party, dance and have a good time. We intend to follow her wishes. We will be dressed casually and informal. Your presence is all that we desire. Her favorite charities were the Make A Wish Foundation and St. Judes Childrens Hospital. There will be no other service as she wished and Jo will be cremated following the celebration. Condolences may be made online at Brantley .com. |

Obituary: When tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart, For every time you think of me, please know I'm in your heart. - Unknown Wilfred Lonzy Bailey, 79, returned to his heavenly home on 2, 2015, after suffering complications from heart surgery. Mr. Bailey, the son of George Wilson and Bessie Mae Smith Bailey, was born on 26, 1935, in Hicks, Louisiana. He married his wife, Zenia Dell Bailey, on 4, 1956, and they had two children. He lived in Simpson where was a commercial contractor and business owner. He was not retired and had no intentions of retirement when he became ill. He was a member of New Life Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Jackson. Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife of 59 years, Zenia Dell Bailey; his son, George Wilfred Bailey of Pearl; his daughter, Susan Diane Galtelli, and son-in-law, Mark Brooks Galtelli of Madison; and his four grandchildren, Rebecca Bailey, Sarah Donnelly, Victoria Bailey, and Grace Galtelli. He is preceded in death by his brother, Riley Wilson Dub Bailey, and his parents. Mr. Baileys service was held on 6, 2015, at Parkway Memorial on Highland Colony in Ridgeland, Mississippi, and he was buried there as well. |
