Obituary: Lorraine Badgley of DeWitt, 95 passed away 23 2016. She was born 29, 1920 in Lansing and was a resident of DeWitt most of her life. She married Kenneth Badgley 6th, 1940 and together they raised 10 children. She loved to bake and sew and tend to the flower gardens and take care of the family. She always enjoyed visits from the grandchildren and great grandchildren all the way to the end, even if she couldn't always remember their names. She was the rock that held the family together and one of her favorite songs to sing was "Que sera sera, whatever will be will be." She would sing it when she played it on the organ. Surviving are her 10 children: Kenneth R. and his wife Peggy Badgley of Lansing, MI, Randall and his wife Janice Badgley of Bath, MI, Tom and his wife Doris Badgley of Haslett, MI, David and his wife Charlotte of Loudon, TN, Terry and his wife Patricia of Trenton, MI, Bruce and his wife Patricia from Swartz Creek, MI, Dale and his wife Sandy from Bath, MI Steven and his friend Casey from DeWitt, MI, Susan and her husband Jerry Covert of Barryton, MI; and Mark and his wife Vanessa of DeWitt, MI. She is also survived by 37 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth C. Badgley. A funeral service will be held , 27, 2016 at 11:00 am at Gorsline Runciman s, DeWitt Chapel, 205 E. Washington St., with Pastor Tim Covert officiating. The family will receive friends on , 26, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
