Obituary: Waterville--Ronald F. Boulette passed away on 26, 2012, with his loving family by his side after a long illness and a courageous battle with cancer. Ron was born at his boyhood home on Gray Avenue, in Waterville, ME on 1/3/33, the son of Adelia (Roy) and Joseph Boulette. He attended Notre Dame Parochial School, graduated from Waterville High School, joined the Navy and served in the Korean War. Upon receiving an honorable discharge in of 1954, he attended Southern Maine Vocational Technical Institute, in S. Portland. graduation, Ron began his career with Central Maine Power , working his way up through the ranks ultimately to Superintendent of Northern Hydro Operations. He was a hard, dedicated worker, with a great sense of humor, and gained the respect of his subordinates, peers and supervisors. He retired from Central Maine Power after 35 years of employment. In 1952, Ron married his high school sweetheart, Barbara Ferris, with whom he happily shared 59 years of marriage. lived in the Waterville-Winslow area for most of their married life. Together they raised one daughter, Christina (Tina). Ron was predeceased by his parents, his sisters, Carmen, Lucille and Jacqueline, six half brothers, three half sisters and a special sister-in-law, Charlene LaVerdiere. He is survived by the love of his life, his beloved wife, Barbara, of Winslow, daughter, Christina (Tina), her husband, Stephen (Bo) Miller, of Scarborough, Bos son, Andrew and his wife, Myra, sister-in-law, Susan and her husband, Gordon Webber, brother-in-law, Paul LaVerdiere, many beloved nieces and nephews who always considered Uncle Ron to be their favorite uncle. He also leaves behind many cousins and countless lifelong and special friends and colleagues. At Rons request, there will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be held , 2, 2012, at 9:00 am, at Notre Dame Church, 112 Silver Street, Waterville, ME. Rons family would like to especially thank the professional, competent and compassionate staff at Maine General Hospital, in Waterville, who provided him with extraordinary care during his countless admissions. Special thanks also go to Maine General Reach Hospice, who provided care for him during his final days. His family would also like to extend their heartfelt thanks for all of the prayers, support and comfort provided them from their immediate and extended family support system during this most difficult time. Obituary: OAKLAND - Captain (Ret.) Jerome A. Boulette, passed away at home on , 19, 2015. Captain Boulette was born in Waterville, Maine on 5, 1929 the son of Arthur and Blanche (Rancourt) Boulette. Known affectionately as The Moose, Jerome attended Notre Dame grammar school and graduated from Waterville High School in 1949. He was employed by the City of Waterville as a firefighter for over 30 years. Jerome was a member of the Knights of Columbus in the Waterville area. Jerome was probably one of the most well respected hunters and fishermen in the area, having spent many hours on the numerous lakes and ponds in the state as well as in the many wooded areas he pursued deer and moose. He had the kn ack of tying the perfect streamer fly and making the genuine fly rod. His love for the outdoors followed him all the days of his life and can be found in the many fruit trees and blueberry bushes that mark his land on the Belgrade Road. In 1963, Jerome married the former Anne G. Letourneau, who survives him along with his daughter and her husband, Maryanne and Darryll Fotter, and his son Jerome Jay Boulette. His grandsons Robert, Nathaniel and Geoffrey were Peps all-time best uds. they affectionately called him Joe. Jerome was pre-deceased by his parents, a brother Lester Boulette, and two sisters, Rita Giguere and Estelle Butler. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces, and sisters-in-law Ida Letourneau, and Beth Lederman and her husband Allen. The family would like to express sincere gratitude and thanks to the Hospice team that provided care and support during his illness. Obituary: Norman R. Boulet, 79 Winslow - Norman R. Boulet, 79, of Winslow passed from this life to the next on 7, 2016 with family at his side. He was born on 19, 1936 in St. Benjamin, Quebec, a son of Cecile (Lessard) and Gerard Boulet. He and his family immigrated to Waterville in 1949 when he was 13. He attended local schools and graduated from Waterville High School, Class of 1956. Norman was an enterprising man with a strong work ethic who co-owned many businesses including a saw mill, logging operation, trucking company, truck stop, and a truck repair company. His idea of retirement was to begin a log brokering business which purchased logs throughout New England for customers in Maine and Canada. That business was active until an illness stopped him from working earlier this year. Logging was in his blood and he was well known in the industry. We are sure he will be cruising the timberlands of heaven. He is remembered for always being in a hurry and direct in his communications. He had presence wherever he went and was not easily intimidated. Yet beneath a gruff exterior was a genuinely kind man who was a big marshmallow willing to help with a cheerful and positive attitude among family. He will also fondly be remembered for his many malapropisms. Over the years Norman enjoyed downhill skiing, snowshoeing and dancing. He also enjoyed traveling, especially to Quebec to see family and friends on a moments whim. He belonged to Le Club Calumet in a and the Elks Lodge in Waterville. He also belonged to a group known as Les Bavards, a Franco American Group who gathered at Jorgensens, a local restaurant, every morning. Norman is survived by his beloved wife, Lucille Boulet of Winslow; his three sons: Brian and his wife Sandra of Winslow; Gary of NH; Paul and his fiancée Susan Dickey of Canaan; his brother, Brother Daniel Caron of Alfred; his stepson Christopher Veilleux of TX; stepdaughter Janice Plourde of MA; Sister-in-law Louise Boulet of Gorham; In-laws Yvonne and Ray Lefevbre, Suzanne and Roger Talbot, and Gabe Veilleux, a special friend Lois Raymond of Rockland, as well as, an extended family of Boulets, Duboiss, and Veilleuxs in US and Canada. . He was predeceased by his brother Jean Louis Boulet and his sister Charlotte Vigue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on morning 19 at 11:00 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 112 Sliver Street, Waterville with a reception following, at a location to be announced after the service. Burial will be in St. Francis Catholic later this spring. Obituary: LEWISTON - Jeanne M. Boulay, 94, passed away peacefully on , May 6, 2016 at the Marshwood in Lewiston. She was born in Van Buren, Maine on 21, 1922, the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Roy) Morin. At age 15, after moving to Lewiston, Jeanne went to work at the Hill Mill Division in the weave room in Lewiston, where she worked for 30 plus years. On 27, 1941 Jeanne married Leo Champagne at St. Louis Church in Auburn, and they had five children together. Leo passed away in 1984, she married Paul Boulay in 1986 until his passing in 2003. She spent the last 7 years of her life at the Marshwood . Jeanne loved to garden, and was known to have a, green thumb and the most beautiful garden. She enjoyed the company of her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren and would cook when they came to her house. She would often be heard singing her favorite tune, God Bless America. Jeanne is survived by her sons, Fernand and his wife Nancy Champagne of Terryville, CT, James and his wife Lorraine of Lewiston, and Paul Champagne of Lewiston; her sister, Bertha Sirois of Hollywood, FLA; her brother, Gerald Morin of Auburn; her 11 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her two husbands; her daughter, Jacqueline Champagne; her son, Joseph Champagne; her five brothers; her two sisters; her daughter-in-law, Lise Champagne; her grandchildren, David Houde and Judy Watson, and her great-grandson Mark Houde. The family would like to send out a special thank you to the staff at Marshwood , especially, Rachel, Jessica, Tamara, Debbie, and Susan and her students, as well as the staff at Androscoggin and Hospice, and to many others who cared for Jeanne.
