Obituary: Brenda Kees Busby born 27, 1948 passed away 18, 2015 at Lakeview Regional Medical at the age of 67. Brenda was of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Busby of Angie, La., a daughter Lorrie Kees Wood and her husband Shalin of Pine, La., a son, Joseph Joey Kees of TN., two brothers, Ben Thomas and Leon Thomas both of Franklinton, two sisters, Sandy Sumrall of Bogalusa and Lana Penton of Franklinton, two grandchildren, Logan Phillips and Chloe Kees and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. Obituary: Services to celebrate the life of Wilma Earleene Burton, 86, will be held on , 17, 2017, at Centuries Memorial , and officiated by Rev. Olan McDaniel. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. The family will receive guests on evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Burton was born on 4, 1931, to Walter McCauley and Geneva Land in Monroe, LA and passed away at her home, in Shreveport, LA, on 13, 2017, following a long-term illness. She was a graduate of Ouachita High School and had made her living as a convenience store manager. Wilma enjoyed fishing and gardening. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Wanda Green and husband Jimmy, and Donna Dupont and husband Dennis; sons, Stanley Provance and wife Wanda, and James Provance and wife Debbie; sister, Mitzy Sadden; twelve grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Burton; her parents; and her sister, Kay Primeaux. |

LAKE PROVIDENCE, LOUISIANA Cox Lake Providence, Louisiana LAKE PROVIDENCE, LA - services for William Stanley Steve Burton, Jr., age 87, a contractor of Lake Providence, Louisiana, will be held at 12 noon at Cox in Lake Providence. Reverend Christopher Burton will officiate. Interment will follow in the Lake Providence City in Lake Providence. Services are under the direction of Cox of Lake Providence. Mr. Burton passed away , 21, 2015 at Claiborne Manner in r, Louisiana. Mr. Burton was a long time resident of Lake Providence where he was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Lake Providence. A veteran of World War II, he served as a staff sergent in the U. S. Marine Corps. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Dobbs Burton; son, Steve C.
