Obituary: Singer - Charlotte Yvonne Baukman, 76, passed away on , 12, 2015 in her residence. Yvonne was born and a lifelong resident of Singer, La. She attended Singer High School where she graduated as Valedictorian from her class. She attended Business in Baton Rouge, La. Yvonne retired from the Beauregard Parish Police Jurors Office in DeRidder. She loved camping, fishing and watching football, especially the Saints, Cowboys and LSU. Yvonne always looked forward to spring so she could sit on her back porch and enjoy the humming birds, flowers and coffee with her friends and family. She loved her church and church family at Good Hope Baptist Church and also her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Coleman of Singer, Dana Boyer and husband George of Fields; brothers, Norris Jackson and wife Carol of Arlington, Tx., and Danny Jackson of Singer; sister, Jean Nixon and husband William of DeRidder; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, and extended family, Paul and Martha Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wayne Baukman; son, Carlton "Corky" Baukman; father, Curt Jackson; mother Estelle Nadine Yarbrough and stepfather, E.L. "Blackie" Yarbrough and brother, Royce "Bunk" Jackson. Her funeral service will be at 2:00pm on , 16, 2015 in Good Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Schultz and Rev. Donnis Ashworth officiating. Burial will be in Good Hope . Visitation will be on , 15 from 11:00am until 8:00pm and will resume on from 10:00am until service time at the church. Obituary: Gracie Sanchez Baugnon died 17, 2013 in the place she loved, her Metairie home where she lived for the last 43 years. She was 82. Gracie was born in Plattenville, Louisiana, 25, 1930, the youngest of eight children. Beloved wife of the late Richard F. Baugnon, they met in 1950 at the amusement park where they both worked, Pontchatrain Beach. were married a year later and together had nine children that Gracie is survived by: Christy Szempruch (Ray), Dede Baugnon-Herda (Jeff), Rick, Diane Stolz (Eddie), John (Gail), Barbara (Ken Smith), Tish Faulk (Perry), David (Meg Rogers-Baugnon) and Michael (Vicky). She is also survived by her two older sisters, Mable Sanchez and Gertrude Mellor. Grandmother to sixteen wonderful children and Great-Grandmother to ten more, Gracies impact on those who were privileged to know her will be felt for generations. Gracie was devout in her faith and very active in her church, St. Edward the Confessor. Two of her favorite places to meet with friends included Colonial Country Club and the Hilltoppers. It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to such an amazing woman, but with gladness that we carry her memory with us in our hearts. In the words of St. Paul, Gracie had an abundance of Faith, Hope and Love. The greatest of these was and continues to be Love. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass on , 21, 2013 at 12:00 pm at Garden of Memories , 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories . |

Obituary: Cindy Baughman, 59, died 13, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family. Cindy was an amazing mom, wife, best friend, and mimi. She showed tremendous courage and strength and fought till the end. She will truly be missed every day. Member of the Krewe of Artemis, which she absolutely loved, a devoted LSU fan and tailgater. She treasured the time and friendships she made working for St. Aloysius and St Jean Vianney schools. A special thanks to Hospice of Baton Rouge, especially Tina for taking such good care of her and for her support. Thanks also to Dr. Vasireddy, Brittany, and all the amazing chemo nurses at Ochsner for far exceeding our expectations in going above and beyond for her. She was preceded in death by her father Harry Mitchell, father-in-law- Versie Peewee Baughman, grandfather Henry Rodriquez and grandmother Bessie Rodriquez. Survived by husband David Baughman. Daughters Tricia Frye and husband Jennings Bryan Frye IV and Melissa Welch and husband Jason Welch. Granddaughter Alexis Antolik, step granddaughter Allison Frye. Sisters Susan Weisse, Jeannie Ainsworth, Donna Ainsworth, and Wendy Hebert. Mother Norma Mitchell, Mother-in-law Betty Baughman. Sister-in-Law Peggy Rylee. Numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be evening from 5-8 PM at Greenoaks home with a Rosary at 6:30PM. Visitation 9-11 AM 16 with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church with Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jason Welch, Jennings Bryan Frye IV, Lambert Weisse II, Spencer Coxe, Lambert Weisse, and Blake Hollier. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Cindys name to Race for the Cure, team Cindys Hooters, at www.komenbatonrouge.org.
