Obituary: Graveside services for Fred Shorty Byrnside, 68, will be held at 2:00pm , 24, 2015 at Birds Chapel in Truxno with Bro. Donald Reeves officiating with arrangements under the direction of Farrar in Farmerville. Mr. Byrnside, went to his heavenly home 22, 2015. He was retired from Anthony Forest Products, a US Army Veteran having served in Vietnam and also served 12 years in the Louisiana National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents: Crawford & Iola Byrnside; 1 son: Matthew Allen Byrnside. Obituary: Rose Marie Winters Byrne, 83, of Little Rock, passed peacefully from this life on , 08, 2014, at her home in Little Rock, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 28, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Edward C. and Marie Ann Winters. Her family moved to Little Rock in 1946 and Rose remained here for the rest of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, five older siblings and her husband of 57 years, Robert (Bobby) L. Byrne, Sr. She is survived by their seven children, Robert Byrne, Jr. (Linda) of Louisiana, Beverly Chidester (Kenny), Steven Byrne (Ernestine), Angela Stacy (Jackie), Ginny Carlin (Tony), Barbara Courtney (Buddy) and Brenda Byrne (Kym) all of Arkansas; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Rose was a 1949 graduate of Mount Saint Mary Academy in Little Rock, a devoted and loving wife and mother, a great friend to many and an avid fan of Razorback football and thoroughbred horse racing. A devout Catholic she was a volunteer at St. Edward’s School, involved in fundraising at St. Andrew’s Cathedral and most recently a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel. Visitation and a rosary service will be held at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth at 580 W. 12th Street in Little Rock on , 10, 2014 beginning at 6:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on , 11, 2014 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church at 10:00 am with burial immediately after at Rest Hills Memorial Park at 7724 Landers Road in North Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rose’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. |

He was preceded in death by his parents Ervin and Virda Byrd, a sister, Martha Van Pelt, brother, Bob Byrd, and 2 wives, Elizabeth and Marilyn. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Tindall Byrd, that he always called his “beautiful bride”; four sons: Dennis Byrd and wife, Karen, of Austin, Jim Tindall and wife Faye, of Mountain View , Kenny Tindall of North Little Rock, and Roger Tindall of Mountain View, four daughters: Linda Powers of North Little Rock, Rhonda Owen and husband Darren of Vilonia, Jana Patterson and husband Pat of Maumelle, 17 grandchildren: Jennifer Bloom and Mitch of Cabot, Brad Byrd of Austin, Bobby Powers and Kim of Siloam Springs, Rodney Tindall and of Conway, David Scott Tindall, Adam Tindall and Sarah of North Little Rock, James Owen and Heather, Jared Owen and Elizabeth, and Joshua Owen all of Conway, Michelle Braswell of North Little Rock and Tina Ramsey of Maumelle, a special friend , Kylie Teague of Vilonia, 14 great grandchildren; one brother, Harold Don Byrd of Little Rock, and a host of extended family and friends. Windle was a faithful member and Deacon of Faith Baptist Church in North Little Rock for 24 years. He served our country in Austria for 3 years during the Korean War. He was retired from the Arkansas Department of after 36 years. He also, was an avid reader, worldwide traveler, master domino player, loved searching for words, and best known for sharing his $2.00 bills! Visitation will be , 20, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and funeral service at 10:00 a.m., both will be at Faith Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Pastors officiating: Jeff Hulsizer, Freddie Holmes and Bob Weigel.
