He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Barner, a sister, Sarah Sallee; two half-brothers, Alfred Crouse and Charlie Crouse; and a half-sister, Marie Wilson. Born 2, 1938 in Bearden, she was the daughter of the late Robert Ray Harrell and Dollie Mae Evans Harrell. She was a member of Bearden Missionary Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Paul Hollis, who died 27, 1970, and Jerrell Franklin Barner, who died 16, 2015; two brothers, Ray Harrell and Benny Harrell; and a son-in-law, Raymond Crane.
