Obituary: John David Bobbitt, 65, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away 21, 2015 in Union Hospital. He was born 2, 1949 in Cherry Point, North Carolina to Avery Bobbitt and Aletha (Legg) Bobbitt. John was a local business owner for many years. He owned Couch Potato Video and Bobbitts Sports Bar. He worked for CBS, Pillsbury, and AET. John was also a five time cancer survivor over the last 15 years of his life. John loved to travel and vacation at the Jersey Shore with old friends, new friends, and family. John was preceded in death by his parents; brother Jim Bobbitt; sister Sally Edrington; and nephew Paul Dickison. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Carla (Sereno) Bobbitt; sons John D. Bobbitt II, Nicholas J. Bobbitt, and his wife Heather; grandchildren Macen, Brilei, and Bristol; brother Sam Bobbitt and his wife Carol, Richard Smith and his wife Sandra; sisters Susan Dickison, and her husband Paul; sister-in-law Carolyn Bobbitt; and several nieces and nephews. services are scheduled for , 28, 2015 at 1:00p.m. in Greiner , 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana 47804. Obituary: Thomas Tom Bobay, 71, passed away , May 5, 2015 at Kingston in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Tom graduated from Central Catholic High School. He worked with BF Goodrich for 32 years before joining Nob Sales where he worked for 10 years before retiring. He was on the Executive Board for United Steel Workers Local 715 for 38 years, member of the United Way of Allen , on the Board for Cancer Services of NE Indiana, and served on the Cherry Hill Villas Association for 5 years. He was a very talented woodworker and enjoyed making furniture. His other hobbies were walking, maintaining his yard but most of all spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Sandy Bobay of Fort Wayne, children; Kimberly (Randy) Troy of Fort Wayne, Scott (Robin) Bobay of Auburn, David (Christina) Bobay of Fort Wayne, grandchildren, Kylie, Alex, Timothy, Matthew, TJ, Joshua, Kelly, Alex, and Natasha, brothers, Phillip (Janice) Bobay of Springfield, OH, and Donald (Sherry) Bobay of Fort Wayne.
