Obituary: Peoria \ Eliot Archie Bohannon, 53, of Peoria, IL passed away at his residence on , 29, 2014. He was born 27, 1961 in Peoria, IL to William and Betty (Matthews) Bohannon. Archie was a veteran of the United States Navy serving four years on the U.S.S. Farragut. He worked for the Alcast for the past six years. Surviving is his sister Karen Matthews of Peoria, IL, fiancé Renee Lee of Peoria, IL, niece Kimmy Matthews of Peoria, IL, and four nephews: J.R. Matthews of Roanoke, IL, Ted Matthews of Colorado, Anthony Griffin of Peoria, IL, and Matthew Griffin of Massachusetts. Archie was preceded in death by his parents and brother. Obituary: North Pekin, IL - Cynthia Louise Bohannan, 63, of North Pekin, passed away at 1:55 p.m. , Nov. 4, 2010 at her home with her family by her side. Born 20, 1947 in Peoria to Clarence H. and Louise (Lambie) Hoover. She married John H. Bohannan Sr. in North Pekin on 4, 1964. He survives. Also surviving are five daughters, Gidget (Jack) St. Cin, Cassandra (Tommy) Clark, Paula (Tom) Wolfe, Katie (Thad) Birkett, Amber Gale; 15 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Sue Doxsee, and Priscilla Sisler. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John H. Bohannan Jr.; and one sister, Maggie Tomlinson. Cynthia worked as a bus driver for We of Morton until her illness. Services will be at 10 a.m. , Nov. 8, 2010 at Woolsey in Pekin. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. at the . Burial will be at Lakeview in Pekin. Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure at 4700 N. University Street in Peoria, IL 61614. |
