Obituary: Margaret H. Barker, 84, was welcomed into heaven on , 24, 2015. Born 16, 1930 in Medford, WI. to Joseph and a (Makovec) Jari. Margaret moved to Rockford and worked at different factories.. She met her husband Bob through match-making initiated by Bobs sister, Betty. She married Robert Barker and together shared 58 years of marriage while raising their three daughters. Margaret was a homemaker most of her life, taking care of her family was her career. She was a lunch lady at Carlson Elementary School. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, gardening, assembling puzzles, couponing, baking and creating flower arrangements. Margaret was a long time member of St. Bridgets church. Survivors: husband, Robert; children, Cindy (Brad) Hyland, Nancy (Darrin) Mathews and Carol (Alan Dalton) Ousley; grandchildren, Stephanie Peavy, Thomas Castle Jr., Heather (Otoniel) Molina, Kyle Barker, Bryan (Carmissa Quinlin) Ousley; great-grandchildren, Felix, Lilliana, and Brody; brothers, Bobby (LaVerne) Matt (Carole) and Jim (Lois) Jari ; sister, Barb Jari; sister-in-law; Betty Cunningham; many nieces and nephews. Leigh was a District Manager for Walgreens for over 20 years. He was also a Real Estate Agent for Remax for several years and was Owner/Operator of Barkers Improvement for many years. Obituary: Kevin Wayne Barker, 24, of Rockford, passed away , 10, 2011 after a tragic car accident. Born 4, 1987 the son of Darrel and Gloria (Salisbury) Barker. He served in the U.S. Army. Kevin was an extremist; he loved living on the edge. He had a passion for collecting knifes, guns, coins. He was an avid Chicago Bears Fan. Kevin was a big kid at heart, he loved playing games with Nurf guns, spending weekend camp outs at his sisters home. Survivors include his parents, siblings Donnie Page, Lee Page and Casey Barker (Richard), half sister Laura Michelle (Raphael) Barker, half brother Darrel (Polly) Barker Jr; nieces and nephews, Richie Lee, Erik, Marcus and Nevaeh (otherwise known as Izzy), Uncle Marty, maternal grandparents, Delores (Tom) Grove, Orville (Pat) Shock, paternal grandmother Dessie, his dog Harley and lots of best friends. He was preceded in death by his niece Victoria Love. Kevin will be dearly missed by all whom knew him; he was a best friend to all and was one of the most honest people anyone could have met. services will be 2:00 pm , 15, 2011 at Sunset , 8800 N.
