Obituary: Bernice Suhrie Bergherm, 82, was born 5, 1933 and passed away on 23, 2016 shortly after being diagnosed with cancer. Bernice graduated in 1955 from Washington Adventist University, formally Washington Missionary , with a degree in nursing and was the operating room director at Washington Adventist Hospital before retiring to raise her family. Her late husband, Dr. Bruce Bergherm, was an Anesthesiologist at Piedmont Hospital in Georgia and together they are survived by sons Bruce (Ellen), Brent (Leigh Ann), and Brian (Debbie); grandchildren Bruce III, Christopher, Nashay, Melanie, Garrett, Nicholas, Alexandra; and great grandchildren Graceson, Blake, Kaleb, Evan, Sariya, Faith, and London. She was a long term resident of Atlanta, Georgia, but most recently of Sebring, Florida, where she passed away. Visitation will be held on 25 from 6pm until 8pm at the H.M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel at 173 Allen Rd NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Services will be on 26 at 1pm at the H.M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel with Elders Albert Ellis and Noel Shanko officiating. Burial will follow the service at Arlington Memorial Park. Obituary: Mr. George Bergeson, 73, passed away , 20, 2015 in LaGrange, Ga. Mr. Bergeson was born 6, 1942 in Beloit, Wisconsin, son of George and Lena Bergeson. He graduated from Beloit Catholic High School in 1960, and attended Milwaukee School of Engineering, as well as Auburn University. He graduated from Columbus in 1975. He and his family moved to LaGrange in 1969 and he was employed by Westinghouse and then Mansours for many years, most recently employed at Auburn University as a Systems Analyst . George was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church and belonged to the Knights of Columbus. He was a Viet Nam Veteran and a member of the VFW and American Legion. George loved fishing, woodworking spending time with his family, friends and especially his grandchildren. He was looking forward to the birth of his first great grandchild in . Survivors include his wife, Barbara, sons, James and Robert and his daughter Theresa Pastrnak. Granddaughters, Christina Smith, Mary Elizabeth and Clara Bergeson ,Briana and Lindsey Crawford; Brother, Joe (his wife Kim) Bergeson, sister-in-law Penny Bergeson and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Martin, aunts, uncles, a cousin and his In-laws. George was a wonderful Husband, Father and Grandfather , who was loved by many and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to . St. Vincent DePaul or Mary Memorial Garden at St. Peters Catholic Church in memory of Mr. Bergeson. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 11:00am, 28, 2015, at St. Peters Catholic Church.
