Obituary: Irene Florence Arkin, 92, passed away on , 22, 2015 at Laurel Pointe and Rehabilitation in Fort Pierce, FL. Irene was born in New York and had been a resident of Fort Pierce for over 45 years coming from Fort Lauderdale, FL. Prior to retiring, Irene had worked sales in the retail industry. She had been a member of the Reach Community Church at Archies in Fort Pierce, FL. Irene also volunteered at the Reach Thrift Shop in Fort Pierce. She was a Lady Elk member in the Elks in Fort Pierce and the Ocean Village Mahjong Club. Irene had also enjoyed singing with the Sweet Adelines chorus. Irene is survived by her daughter, Wynn Burns(Robert), of Fort Pierce, FL; granddaughter, Amber Kimmel and great grandson, Timothy Franklin,also of Fort Pierce, FL. have been entrusted to Aycock in Fort Pierce, FL. |

Obituary: James Jim A. Arkell, 61, of Weeki Wachee, FL and a former resident of Citrus for 20 years, passed away on , May 12, 2016. A native of Newtown, CT, he was born Oct. 16, 1954 to Alfred E. and Norma (Miller) Arkell, one of three children. Jim, as he was known to many, moved to Citrus 22 years ago from Bethel, CT and to Weeki Wachee two years ago. He enjoyed a long career as a long distance truck driver, working for commercial carriers over the years in the states of Indiana, Washington, Tennessee and Florida. He loved his job as a trucker and visited every state in America except Alaska in his duties. Jim was passionate about motor cycles and loved everything about Harley-Davidson, he also enjoyed reading, fishing, and spending precious time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War Era from 1972 to 1975. Mr. Arkell is survived by his loving wife, Dianna Arkell, Weeki Wachee, FL, with whom he shared nearly 41 years; daughter Crystal Jacob (Brad Hollis, Jr.), Weeki Wachee, FL; Michelle Mosier (Marcus), Jacksonville, FL; his mother, Norma Arkell, Homosassa, FL; brother Kenneth Arkell (Lisa), New Hampshire; sister Judith Ozment (Jerry), Dade City, FL and grandchildren Matthew, Taylor, Nickolas, Lillian and Adrian Jacob as well as Donovan Mosier. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Joe Ozment. Obituary: Dennis Paul Arkebauer, 66, passed away 14, 2017. He was born 11, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan and resided in Middleburg, Florida. Mr. Arkebauer was Retired US Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer, serving from , 1970 to , 1993. Dennis loved his time in the Navy and also continued his career, working on aircraft as an Airframes and Power Plants Mechanic after retiring from the Navy. Mr. Arkebauer was the son of Sadie and Robert Arkebauer Sr., brother of Robert Arkebauer Jr., father of three daughters; Yvette, Misty and Kimberly and grandfather of eight grandchildren; Rachel, Alyssia, Robert, Orion, Benjamin, Sadie, Indi and Ella.
