Obituary: Beverlee Ann Allison, 78, of Greeley died 4, 2014 at Hospice of Northern Colorado. She was born 27, 1935 in Pueblo, Colorado to Ignatius Edward and Anne Elizabeth (Babish) Papish. Beverlee was raised and educated in Pueblo, Colorado. It was there that she also became a very accomplished organist and pianist. She played for churches and at several funeral homes in the Pueblo area. her family moved to Greeley she met Albert L. Allison Jr. and on May 30, 1969, they were married at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. marriage, they lived in Greeley for a short time before moving to an acreage northwest of the city to raise a family. Beverlee was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Windsor, where she served as the church organist for many years, as well as serving as one of the accompanists at Stoddard for Paul Stoddard. Beverlee loved all animals, having many dogs, cats, sheep and even a burro. She is survived by her son Albert Stub Allison IV of Greeley; sister-in-law Judy Papish of Windsor; brother Jim Papish; cousin Joann Washburn of Michigan; very dear friends Kathy and Henry Kindsfather of Greeley; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter Nicole Marie Allison in 1995; husband Albert L. Allison Jr. in 1996 and a brother Robert Edward Papish in 1998. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 1:30 p.m., 10 at Stoddard followed by Liturgy Service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Weld Humane Society in care of Stoddard , 3205 W. 28t Street, Greeley, Colorado 80634. Obituary: In Memory of James Richard Allis 26, 1936 - 17, 2017 James Allis, 80, passed away 17, 2017, after a six-month battle with cancer. Jim was born in Mesa, Arizona, and lived in Colorado Springs, Larkspur, Pueblo and La Junta before settling on the Allis Ranch in Greenland, Colorado, when he was nine years old. He attended elementary school in Greenland and graduated from Douglas High School in 1955. As a teenager, much of his free time was spent working on his 1935 Plymouth. high school, he joined the Navy, where he served as a corpsman on the U.S.S. Ticonderoga in the South China Sea. his discharge, Jim returned to Douglas and operated road maintenance equipment for the county. Later, he moved to Monument and became an elementary-school custodian. Jim loved living in the Monument area, where he walked five-miles on the Santa Fe Trail toward Palmer Lake. His goal was to make the trip three times a week, weather permitting. He was able to do this until his 79th year. His two other hobbies included trains and photography; he was able to combine these two hobbies with beautiful pictures including the Colorado landscape. He was always a student and an avid reader of non-fiction. His love of God and his concern for others was reflected in his mission trips to Venezuela, Alaska and New York City soon after 9/11 and in his financial and prayerful support for foreign missions and prison ministry. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Julia Allis, his sister Judy Johnson, two nieces, one nephew and one great niece. He is survived by a sister, Mary Lynn Dameron and her husband of Round Rock, Texas, and by two nieces, Julie Friedrich and husband of Hillsboro, OR, and Michelle Eckert and husband of Leander, TX, plus many great and great great nieces and nephews. A celebration of his live is being held , 27, at 1:00 p.m. at the Monument .
