Obituary: Alyce Faye Allgood of Security entered into life on May 10, 1938 in Hyannis, NE to Doyle and Alyce (Lund) Witt. Faye entered into eternal life on 19, 2014 in Colorado Springs, CO at the age of 76 yrs 2 months and 9 days. Faye grew up in Chadron, NE and graduated from Chadron High School. her graduation she married the love of her life Robert Douglas Allgood on 10, 1956. celebrated their 58th anniversary in of this year. Faye and Robert eventually moved to Security and have made their home here since. Faye was a member of the womens auxiliary of Security Village Volunteer fire Department and was named president twice. She had been a member of Good Shepherd Methodist Church for 47 years. She was an avid reader and crossword puzzle worker. However her love of cooking overshadowed both of these. Faye retired from Widefield School District #3 with 23 years as a library/media aide, with several years of volunteering at the District before that. Faye is survived by her husband of 58 yrs Robert D. Allgood, son David (Tracy) Allgood of Security. Granddaughter: Hannah; Great granddaughter Kynlee also of Security. She is also survived by sisters: Margaret Rejecian of Texarkana, TX, and Sharon (Bryan) Bourne of Security and a brother DeWayne (Sharon) Witt of Security and numerous nieces and nephews as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Doyle and Alyce (Lund) Witt and a sister Mary Louise Witt. Visitation for Faye was held on 22, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary 6630 S. Hwy85/87 Fountain, CO. A memorial service was conducted on 23 at 3:30 pm. At Good Shepherd United Methodist Church at 1201 Leta Dr. in Security. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Fayes name to the Rocky Mountain Rehabiliation 525 N. Cascade Colorado Springs, CO 80903. |

Obituary: 88, of Arvada, CO. passed away peacefully at home, on 3, 2011 after a brief illness. Born and raised in LaSalle, CO., she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Kenneth, and three sisters, Mary, Nellie, and Nina. She is survived by her sister Roberta Kurzyna of La Salle, CO., five children, Donald Alley (Judy) of Colorado Springs, Barbara Alverson (Dave) of Lakewood, Janet Slaughter (Douglas) of Highlands Ranch, Susan Bilderback (Robert) of Lakewood, and Judy Alley of Arvada. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great, great, grand child. A resident of the Wheat Ridge/Arvada area since 1947, Louise was active in numerous Church, civic and social organizations. services will be held Feb.10, at the Arvada United Methodist Church, 6750 Carr St. Arvada, CO at 10:00 AM, with interment to follow at Crown Hill cemetery.
