Obituary: Dennis Dean Allen, 72 of Cottonwood, passed away on 18, 2016. He was born on May 23, 1943 in Los Angeles, CA to Freddie A. Allen and Lois Lima. Dennis attended college to become an ASE Certified Master Mechanic. Dennis was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Dennis father died in WWII when his ship sank so Dennis and his brother were raised by their stepfather Harry and mother Lois. Dennis enjoyed hot rods, camping, fishing and anything car or outdoor related. He was a wonderful caring man and the best husband. He will be deeply missed. Dennis was preceded in death by parents Freddie Allen and Lois Lima. He is survived by his wife of 8 ½ years KayCee Allen of Arizona; sons y Allen (Ann) of Idaho and Scott Allen of Nevada; stepson Tim Sievering of Nevada; daughters Kimberly Torres (Scott), Kristi Allen-Richter (Craig) and Heather Allen all of California and Ashley Allen of Nevada; brother Dale Allen (Kathy) of Florida; stepfather (who raised him) Harry Lima and 12 grandchildren. Private family services will be held. Obituary: Dennis Allen, 66, of Cottonwood passed away 9, 2015 after a long illness. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on 24, 1948. Dennis was best known as Santa for his 15 plus years of being the Santa Claus for the Jerome Childrens Christmas Party and the Jerome Polar Express. Dennis served the U S Army in Viet Nam as a Redeye Gunner from 1969 to 1971. He worked in construction in Phoenix until his retirement in 1992 when he moved his family to Cottonwood and opened his business: A Touch of Class Custom Trikes. His passion was his motorcycles and VW Trikes. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Nanette; daughter Nikki Name; son Joseph Name; grandsons Anthony, Hayden & Cameron Rosas and mother and father-in-law, Albert and Nancy Loomis and many, many friends. Obituary: Charles Chuck Christian Allen, 72, of Goodyear, Arizona, passed away surrounded by his family, , 24, 2015. A celebration of life service will be held , 30th at Holy Cross , 9925 W Thomas Rd, Avondale, AZ 85392. Guests are able to arrive starting at 5:00 pm for the viewing and the service will begin at 7pm. Services will be at 10:00am on , 31st at St. Thomas Aquinas, 13720 W Thomas Rd, Avondale, AZ 85392. Father John Muir will be officiating. The burial will immediately follow at Holy Cross . Chuck was born May 31, 1943 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Charles and Virginia Lee Allen. He graduated from the Air Force Academy class of 1965, retiring after 21 years of honorable service. He received his masters from Stanford in 1966 and he also received his BA in Theology from The of Santa Fe in May of 1976. He was an active Catholic deacon of 38 years, incarnated in the Diocese of Santa Fe, New Mexico. On 25, 1969 he married Judith Judy Liebeck. Chuck was employed as a Nuclear and Laser Physicist for Engility (formerly TASC) and he supported DTRA (Defense Threat Reduction Agency). He recently retired May 31st of 2015. He was also an avid handball player and was state champion of New Mexico in 1976. Chuck is survived by his wife Judy, three sons, Philip Michael Schueneman and wife Jennifer of Columbus, OH; Charles Randolph Randy Allen and wife Denise of Ahwatukee, AZ; Robert Christian Allen and wife Rachel of Dallas, TX; and daughter Laurie and husband Brandon Toombs of Goodyear, AZ; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild, three brothers, a sister, and his father Charles G. Allen and wife Margarette of Escondido, CA. He is preceded in death by his mother Virginia Lee Luther. Chuck, the oldest of five, was a loving father and grandfather. He loved to mentor his grandchildren in the areas of math and science and religion. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial gifts be designated to Mayo Clinic Hematology Research Program at Mayo Clinic, in memory of Charles C. Allen. Gifts can be mailed directly to Mayo Clinic, Department of Development, 13400 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale, AZ 85259.
