Obituary: Fariborz Amzajerdian, 57, passed away on 31, 2010. Fariborz was born in Tehran, Iran. finishing his high school, he moved to Bologna, Italy in 1974 to continue his education. He then moved to Portland, Oregon in 1980 to complete his Civil Engineering degree. From 1989 to 1993, he resided in Southern California. He lived in Alabama from 1993 to 2001 where he met his beloved wife. Finally, he lived in Newport News, Virginia from 2001 to 2010. Fariborz loved his family dearly and that is the main reason for his moves to different countries and states. He touched so many lives in the course of his life and will be remembered as a kind, generous, and selfless individual with a big heart. He is survived by his wife, Kimobra Murray, and his four brothers, Kioumars, Zia, Faramarz, and Farzin. The loving memory of Fariborz will forever be with all his family members, and he will be remembered lovingly by all who have crossed path with him. His funeral service will be held in accordance with the Bahai faith at 10:00 AM on , 4 at Parklawn Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum. Friends are invited to a devotional program in his honor at 7:00 PM. |

Obituary: Born in Denver, CO in 1957 to the late Robert Amundson and Mary Jo (Streeter) Amundson, Paul passed away on , 11, 2016, after a brief battle with cancer surrounded by his family. Paul attended Mullen High School in Denver, where he won the State Championship for shotput in 1975 and held the record until 2000 at which time he was inducted in the Hall of Fame. He was awarded a football scholarship to Colorado , Colorado Springs, CO. Following college, Paul began a long and successful career in food sales with companies such as American Chicle, KRAFT, and Tennessee Pride Sausage and for the last 15 years, Smithfield Foods, Smithfield, VA. In 2013, Paul was awarded Salesman of the Year for the Foodservice Sales Team while in Florence, Italy. Paul met and married his wife Nancy (Stevens) Amundson in Kansas City, MO in 1985 and his son, Steven (Nashville, TN) and K.Leigh (Williamsburg, VA) were born there. Moving to Nashville, the family spent many years developing a strong, committed and loving network of friends based out of the St. Edwards/Fr. Ryan Catholic community. In addition to his wife and children, Paul leaves behind his brothers; Steve (Linda) Amundson, Terry (Janell) Amundson; and sister, Debbie Emerson, all from Colorado. Paul had an extended family to include wonderful brothers-in -law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews, and his amazing friends that he has met throughout his career. As strong as his work ethic and his faith in God was, his passion was for all sports, especially football. In his final days, Paul was able to watch his hometown team (Denver Broncos) win the Super Bowl Championship. A memorial service will be held next month in Nashville, TN. A special thank you goes to the extraordinary team of oncology nurses at the Sentara plex Hospital. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society and the Alzheimers Foundation.
