Obituary: Tito passed away on 27, 2017. He was born on 1, 1962 in a small town named Valle Hermoso, state of Tamaulipas, Mexico. His family included his parents Alberto G. Ayala and Mary Margaret Ayala, an older brother Ernesto Thomas (Tommy) Ayala and a sister Maria Margarita Ayala. In 1963, the family moved to Galveston, Texas where they lived for four years and then relocated in Houston, Texas where they made their home until today. Tito attended the Elrod School and Strake Jesuit. He grew up in the Maplewood area and there he met his longtime friends. He participated in all available sports. In little league, he distinguished himself as a pitcher and as a batter. He did not have a blazing pitching speed but to his credit was he had an excellent control of the ball. He also was good catching the ground balls like a professional. In most recent years including this year he still had that innate feeling of swinging at the ball when he watched on television baseball games eprimanding (from home) the batter for not swinging at the ball. He was not selected for the little league team but the following year, he was. This selection team was a champion in Houston area and they went to Dallas for further competition. Tito attended the U of H for college and completed it in Lubbock, Texas. Additionally he took a course in tax and became a certified Chef. He loved football games. In fact, during high school he participated in football as well as in football soccer. His favorite teams were the U of H, Texas Tech and the Texans. When he attended Texas Tech in Lubbock, he was part of the college soccer team. He was always a gentleman; his mother recalls that while living in Galveston, she had strictly prohibited Maria, Titos younger sister, to avoid crossing the street. One-day 3-year-old Maria told her mother that she had crossed the street to go to play with a neighbor kid. She sweetly said, Momma: Tito, (then 5 years old), helped me cross the street. Tito was very proud of his accomplishment. Fishing was another past-time loved by Tito. He liked wade-fishing in Galveston and went deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico several times. We will miss his funny stories and unique sense of humor but find solace in the knowledge that he is onto a better life. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on , 29, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024. services will be on , 30, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Directors, with a reception to follow in the Event Room at the funeral home. |
