Obituary: Wanda C. Austin, 77, of Forney, TX, went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2015. Wanda was born on May 19, 1938 to Robert Bass and Suzie Bogard in Edgewood Texas. Wanda was a hard worker and always active, wanting something to do. She spent time in her yard, tending to her flower beds and gardening. She loved attending and serving her church. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Alba before moving to Forney. While living in Forney she became a member of the First Baptist Church in Kaufman and her school class became an important part of her life. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Those who have preceded her are husband Larry Austin; parents Robert and Suzie; her brothers Robert Edward Bass, Horace Weldon Bass and Wiley Brunson; son Gary Michael Reece. Those left to cherish her memory are daughter Catherine Tull; grandchildren Joshua W. Tull and wife Kristin, Angela LeBrun, Gary Michael Reece, II and wife Sue, James K. Tull and wife Rachael, Anthony G. Reece and wife Jessica and Dalton Reece and wife Madison; great-grandchildren Jacob Tull, Emily Tull, Rilyn Sturrock, Madison Tull, Maddox Sturrock, Zachary Tull, Breyden Tull and Bryton Reece; siblings Riley Brunson and wife Virginia and Elizabeth Osteen and husband Ray and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss her dearly. |

Obituary: Stephen L Austin, age 73, went to be with our Lord , 7, 2016, after battling Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was a proud Navy veteran and a Texas A&M graduate with a Bachelors degree in Science. Stephens career highlight was teaching at Katy High School, then later spending over twenty-five years as a machinist. He appreciated spending time with his family, loved classic cars, enjoyed watching Nascar, football and westerns. Stephen was an honorable and devoted Aggie. Preceded in death by his father Arthur Austin, mother Theresa Maass Austin and niece Melanie Puffer. Survived by his son Rick Austin and wife Judy; daughter Debbie Mathis and husband Jeff; son Stephen Austin II and wife Miho; son Royce Austin and wife Sally; grandchildren Amanda, Megan, Aaron, Chandler, Justin, Kyla, Sarah, Asher, Leo and Elise; sister Wanda Puffer and husband John; sister Ruby Kettenhofen and husband Bill; brother Stanley Austin; brother Ray Austin, Sr. and wife Kathy; sister Wanez Hill; nieces Sheryl, Dawn, Julie, Deanna and Kim; nephews Brian and Ray, Jr. Memorial service will be held at Fort Sam Houston National on , 26, 2016, at 1:00 pm, located at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX. Obituary: Stephen F. Austin, 62, of Spring, Texas, passed away 10, 2015, in Humble, Texas. He was born 11, 1952, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Floyd Jesse Austin and Nannie Mae Winder Austin. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. , 14, 2015, at Cason Monk -Metcalf at 5400 North Street, Nacogdoches. Burial will follow with a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. at Shady Grove . Steve grew up in Nacogdoches and graduated from Nacogdoches High School in 1970 and Stephen F. Austin State University in 1974. He began work for Southwestern Bell Telephone in Nacogdoches in 1974 and completed his forty year anniversary 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brother, Glen Austin, and infant twin siblings, Charles and Charlene. Survivors include sisters: Evelyn Austin Hendrix and husband, Van, and Betty Austin Wicker; brothers: Jesse Austin and wife, Linda, and William (Mack) Austin; nieces and nephews: Brian Hendrix and wife, Hilda, Patricia K. McCutchan, Scott Austin and wife, Stephanie, Todd Austin, Rebecca Austin Castro and husband, Miguel, Lori Austin, William M. Austin Jr., Jana Wicker Morris and husband, Terry; and great nieces and nephews: Ethan Hendrix, Avery Brown, Addison Brown, Caitlyn McCutchan, Melissa Anne McCutchan , Nicholas Austin, Madison Austin, Victoria Castro, Benjamin Castro, and Samantha Morris. Steve will be remembered for his warm smile, sharp wit, love of his cats, and his giving nature. He will be missed by his family, friends, and especially his co-workers at AT&T. Pallbearers are Brian Hendrix, Scott Austin, Todd Austin, Nicholas Austin, William M. Austin Jr., and Terry Morris.
